I came to Ennis for a weeks break to see the family over Christmas... Usually pop down once a year, and we all know the night life in Ennis is always bopping ;)... So i became friends with Barcode somehow or another on Facebook, and we decided to take a trip there... Its ok location wise. Seemed quite busy...hard to know if this was to do with it being christmas, or if it was normally this busy. Im only 29... but after a couple of minutes I started to feel like woah... What is the deal with all the kids?!? I mean, I look quite young, not under 21 though, and I got ID'd on the door(makes me feel young)..Fair enough, Somehow I think the bouncer as trying to make it look like he was "doing his job"... Because he didn't blink an eye-lid at these kids walking in, my niece who is 18 could actually say some of the people there were 2 years behind her in school!! Supposedly judging by their Facebook page it seems to have a bit of a name got for this carry on!.......I liked the fact they have their own beer made from a tap, pretty cool and unheard of. They serve the drinks pretty quick and the music was good.. Its basically just the crowd-and the staff-...they kinda just get u your drink
, no "howsa goin, whats the craic"....but mainly just the bouncer really, think he could have been a bit more pleasant on the door, and I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but the facial piercings, very unprofessional. Oh they have a big screen, I guess if u like footie its massive... My summary is, I wouldnt be rushing to go bk, simply because of the crowd, unless during the week when sports are on an the kids are in school :) Been to better/been to worse read more
