This branch of Barclays is in a very pretty old building. Inside, it feels light and airy, because of the high ceilings and the layout of the cashier counter. There are quite a few cashier stations, and they are mostly fully staffed, so even though there are queues, they move quite quickly. The staff are mostly professional and efficient, although a few of them seem quite aloof (this is possibly because it's been very busy in there when I've been in). When I needed to speak to an advisor I was able to see someone the same day, but they were prepared to make an advance appointment if necessary, and I only had to wait about 5 minutes.
