I ordered my…read morefavourite side a regular poutine. 3 ingredients so if you can't do that right why would I eat your meat? Admittedly they were off to a poor start with a not kept interior. Some food on empty tables a noisy table of two along with a straw or two on the ground. I stepped up and boldly stated "one regular poutine please". He quickly tried the chicken up sale, to which I politely said "no chicken". He would give me the crook eye and say "alright" as he disappeared into the back I heard "10 min " A perfectly acceptable wait time for a good poutine. "What make a great poutine? You ask. The perfect gravy is essential chicken, beef, or mushroom gravy is acceptable. A cheese "curd" so soft and ready to melt it's pre sweating with anticipation. Gravy must be hot enough to melt all the curds before the box it's served in is opened for inspection. So what kind of poutine did I get? A grade A grand slam baby. It was almost perfect less a couple fries that could have been turfed instead of smothered in gravy but heh, not expecting perfection. Food was great can't wait to try something a little more risky next time. Check em out but don't forget your shoes.

I decided to get the Wednesday special which is $7 burger. If you do a combo, the regular price applies which seems quite silly. I got the Jojo thigh which was a spicy chicken burger. The spice was just hot sauce coating the chicken. It was tasty but I didn't care for hot sauce on my chicken. Too sour. I didn't see any price for just fried chicken. The menu only showed combo prices. So I didn't get to try the fried chicken. There is a seniors Tuesday special of 2 pieces chicken with small fries for $5.75. That's a good deal. Come here only if you're in the area. Not worth the trip out for the chicken burger. Maybe the fried chicken will change my mind if I get to try it in future. Parking is available in the plaza.

The restaurant was spotless, with a clean and simple modern decor that felt welcoming right away. The waitress greeted me with a genuine smile and made the whole experience feel relaxed and easy. I sat down and noticed the cool table-side TV ordering system, which was a nice touch and super convenient. Originally, I only planned on having one ice-cold beer, but once I saw the photos of the Korean fried chicken, there was no turning back. I ordered a plate of wings and a second beer -- and I'm glad I did. The frosty mug of Sapporo absolutely hit the spot. Then the food arrived... crispy classic chicken wings served with diced radish, creamy sweet corn coleslaw, and all the little details that made it feel like comfort food done right. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Before I even finished eating, I had already messaged my friends saying: "This is our next meetup spot!" Easy 5 stars. Great atmosphere, friendly service, cold beer, and seriously good chicken. I'll definitely be back!

My daughter got the Butter Chicken Poutine which was very good. My friend got the Poutine Burger which is NOT on the menu in the restaurant but they made it. My daughter also got a mango milkshake that was yummy and my friend tried a chocolate milkshake which wasn't very chocolatey.

With flavours like tandoori, lemon pepper, and major hot... it was difficult to decide which flavours I would try in my four piece meal. I ultimately chose the original flavour to get a sense of what the chicken tastes like and a couple pieces of tandoori, cuz I friggin' love tandoori. The chicken itself was moist and flavourful. The pieces weren't very big, but acceptable in size. The original batter was crunchy, but definitely could use something else to make it better. That's where the dry rub of tandoori seasoning came in. The mix of spices went really well with the crunch of the batter and juicy chicken. Conclusion? You don't have to go with the big chains for some decent fried chicken in Surrey. Major Joy is a legit option and I'm going to have to try their butter chicken poutine and chicken sandwiches next time!
