My GOD. MY GOD…read more This place is terrible. Total chaos. The "store" as she insisted calling her "dumpster in waiting", over the phone is chaos. It is "yuck". CHAOS. I went for an auctioninja pickup. Where is it? No CLUE! Her space is in a GIANT building, but you would never know according to the instructions or google maps, for that matter. "DOOR 1!!!DOOR 1!!!" She frantically says over the phone when I call her. She is annoyed, she does not sound well. I just want to pick up my damn auction win. Door 1? Is it a store? What am I looking for?? I am very polite. She isn't polite, very or otherwise. "IT IS A SHOP! A SHOP! A STORE FRONT. IT IS ON THE STREET" It is none of those things. It is in fact not a store, nor is it on the street. It is within an industrial building with many stores and many doors and many floors...where is Margot? Who the hell knows, except...blessings - some exhausted woman and her grandson are trying to pick up from this place, too. Frustrated...over it; they lead the way. And where do we go to? Upstairs. Go figure. Who knew?! Nicky's Attic is a hoarder's hellscape. Mess. No organization. Chaos Margot was sick as hell - does she have covid? Who the hell knows. She is Sneezing. coughing. wheezing. She is talking on her cell phone. She is VERY BUSY. Is she talking to her friend? It seems VERY IMPORTANT. She is BUSY. SNEEZING. WHEEZING. On the phone. Occupied. We are waiting. All four of us. "WHAT'S WRONG, ARE YOU OK???" She gets up in the guy's face, asking. He has been waiting there for ages, I imagine. He whispers, "good luck" to me as he carries out his box. I, along with the other strangers I am waiting with, are developing a new language via widening eyes and eyebrows being raised. Margo, deep in the room, yells "what are you picking up, what does it look like? Describe it!" WTAF. Well, after you try to describe what you have won via the blurry photos you bid on, she yells "OVER HERE! I FOUND IT. OVER HERE!!!!!" Great. You have to climb over piles of stuff to get your stuff. Then you try not to break your stuff or break your damn body as you exit the hoarders den. But, then, you tell the people, filling up the small cramped space, waiting to talk to sneezing coughing Margo. "GET OUT OF MY WAY OR I WILL ACCENTDENTLY BREAK MY BODY, YOU BODY, AND MY STUFF AS I TRY TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE." The cycle goes on... Ugh. MY GOD. No. Thank. You.

In May I went to Yesterday's with a bunch of women's clothing in good condition. They had me…read morecomplete paperwork, assigned me a number, you know, typical consignment routine. In June I went back to consign more items. When I presented my number the woman told me there had been a mixup with my number/paperwork. She re-assigned my number, had me complete the information again, and then asked me what I had dropped off. A month and a half earlier. Now Yelpers, I am a single Mom with a professional job and an hour commute. I don't remember what I had for lunch yesterday, never mind a month-and-a-half ago. Then she asked me to go through the store and find the items I had consigned! Ain't nobody got time for that! So I left. Today I called to see if the situation had been fixed at all, and I was told that there were a few items sold under the previous number... but the lady who was manning the store wasn't PERMITTED TO HAND OUT MONEY. So, let me get this straight... you have someone watching your store, but you don't trust them with cash? I smell something fishy here. If they can rectify this situation, I'll remove this review.

This place packs a lot in given how small it looks from the outside - the outside also makes it seems like the clothes could be outdated, but that wasn't so. Most of the stuff was pretty current. I found a ton of summer dresses and some pants to try on...sadly, most of it didn't fit right, but that's par for the course! I did buy a couple things, though. I was surprised that in a small shop there was a ton of women's clothes, including plus sizes (although I'm petite), and also a little bit of men's, children's and housewares. There were also a lot of great shoes, but nearly nothing in my size 7. If you're an 8 or larger, there's lots of great heels for you! Also a bunch of cool bags and purses. I wouldn't go out of my way if you're looking for jewelry...slim pickings. But I'll definitely be back for clothes shopping!!

Fabulous Fashion & Consignment will have you coming back on a weekly basis to purchase treasures…read moreyou never thought of buying in a regular retail store. Nestled on the first floor of a house, Jewell welcomes you into her business and each time it feels like you are in a friend's home. There are five rooms you can browse through. Each room is decorated with eclectic novelties which you can also purchase. The first room houses women's shoes, jewelry, and a sale rack. Outfits are tastefully displayed, but do not stay up long as the items become favorites of customers. A second room contains shirts, blouses, sweaters, scarves, and a surplus of boots perfect for the fall season. Another room is exquisite! It's like being in an expensive boutique where beautiful dresses, gowns, shoes, and accessories are sold for a fraction of the price you would pay otherwise. The last clothing room has racks of pants, tops, jackets, and coats available in all sizes. Treats are awaiting to be eaten in the last room which is the kitchen. What a perfect venue for displaying household goods & holiday items. I've been a customer of Fabulous Fashions since Jewell opened her first store. Thank goodness she moved closer to me! I rarely leave the store without buying an item or two or three. I've found myself running back to the store on the same day to purchase an item I passed up the first time, not wanting anyone else to buy it. You'll leave the store with your purchases wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a beautiful flowered gift bag tied with raffia and a signature Fabulous Fashion card you'll be sure to share with a friend.
