You are able to bring in donations of kitchen wares and gently used clothing, accessories, and shoes for 30% off purchases. You are given a rewards card and on your 6th donation, you can get $10 off your purchase. As soon as I walked in a pair of union at olive colored pants caught my eye. They fit perfectly! As I checked out I was informed pants were 30% off. I got a perfect pair of labra for just over $6. What a wonderful value. I was so happy and felt great! She showed me around a few racks of sport coats and suits she'd picked out in advance, knowing roughly what to expect from our phone conversation, and with my reactions, quickly worked her way to my tastes. As a saleswoman, Lorry doesn't push - she just showed me stuff and went with how I felt. She was even honest enough to tell me, when I was hedging on a jacket, "if you're doing that now, you'll do it every time you put it on. It's not worth it." I eventually ended up with a gorgeous wool suit, circa early '70s, which was exquisitely dry cleaned and pressed (which she does with all her merchandise). She priced the comparable suits she got from this source at $225, but this was for her Manhattan market. As a first-time customer who was a student and from her hometown, she let me have it for $95. It needed a little bit of tailoring but she gave me a very complete recommendation for what to do, how to have it done, and who to take it to. The rest of our conversation was about mutual friends/family who we discovered we had. I was there for an hour and a half! You almost feel like an honorary nephew or something in this place. A breakdown: Prices: I didn't get enough of an idea with other merchandise to determine, but these are not thrift store prices. Then again, they're not thrift store items, and she'll work with you. Selection: extensive, sometimes kooky and sometimes very wearable, consistently vintage (lots of 50s-70s). Experience: very pleasant and focused entirely on you.

I lost a significant amount of weight and bras were just not fitting properly. They would be gaping or I'd fall out of them. I tried on literally every bra in a store and couldn't find one that fit properly so I decided to get a bra fitting at Zar Mi. They accept walk ins for bra fittings and they really take their time to make sure you get a bra that fits you and you are happy with. Jackie was wonderful and so knowledgeable. She was able to determine my exact band size without even using a tape measure. She brought out bras one by one for me to try and based on how they fit, she was able to determine the best bra for my shape and fullness. In fact, Jackie was so knowledgeable that halfway through my fitting, my sister, who did not intend to get measured or buy bras, decided to get a fitting and ended up purchasing several bras! I have large breasts and the styles are often times lacking in color and sexiness, however, that was not the case at Zar Mi. I was able to find many bras in pretty colors and lace patterns in my size. The fit is perfect and I don't worry about double boob or falling out so my clothes look much nicer. One of the reasons I delayed in coming for so long was that I was worried about how expensive bras in a small boutique would be. I was pleasantly surprised that the price was on par with department stores/chain lingerie companies' regular prices. Because I bought quite a few, Jackie discounted some of the pieces and even gifted me a pair of the matching panties! I highly recommend Zar Mi. You will not be disappointed!
