Hands down best haircut I've had since I moved here and I tried a few different places before. Great cut but charged me an extra random $15 because they lined up my beard. I'd gladly pay that if I had asked for a beard trim. I went in for a haircut and I just figured he was being nice when trimming up my neck and what not. Went in for a $30 cut came out $45+. Whatever you do, do not let Frankie cut your hair. He was constantly texting on his phone while I just sat in the chair, unnecessarily sharing his legal drama with profane language with children around, and was very sloppy and unclean by refusing to wear a mask to protect me, and he even made fun of me in a very threatening way for wearing a mask which I was wearing to protect him (meanwhile I overheard other barbers ask their customers if they preferred they wear a mask). He rushed the haircut so he could leave for the day even though it was well before closing time, and the end result was very poor and unfinished. He greeted me, then changed his mind and said: "unfortunately buddy, we are booked for the night" are you serious? I really like the atmosphere at this shop. It's a little classic barbershop with a modern twist to it. They have comfortable waiting chairs as well as a couch and dinks while you wait and of course TVs. Chris did a great job on my teenage sons hair last week so I decided to give it a go as well. Called in to ask if I needed to make an appointment or could I just walk in and she said they were booked today, so I said how about for tomorrow? She said that would be fine so I booked telling her that I just wanted a straight razor shave to clean everything up since I'm going out of town. She confirmed everything and we hung up. Arrived early and was greeted by one of the barbers with a client in the chair asking if I had an apt. I said yes he found me and said my guy would be ready for me shorty, sat around the time of my apt with him finishing up his cleaning and the guy was nice (forgot his name) had a great personality and could hold a conversation well. Sat down and started to tell him what I wanted and he said he just had me down for a clean up and didn't have time for a straight razor. I told him I explained to the girl what I wanted and he said he will do what he can. He basically did a clean up, not what I wanted I could do that at home. Unfortunately not the best and realized when i got home my lines on the bottom were not straight. I guess make sure you communicate when u call for an apt. They do not do walk ins. read more
