Bulle was one of the best CFI I've had. I've been through a couple instructors and had to move flight school when I PCsed from alaska to hawaii. I've never had so much fun flying and learning. Over-all cool dude, great instructor very fair and transparent on your progress. Gives great tips on career paths and future goals. All the other instructors were also very chill and welcoming.

Aloha! Working on my commercial rating after getting both PPL and instrument here at this school. Shout out to the Chief Flight Instructor Nathan for helping me get my instrument rating. He really took the time to squeeze me in to his busy schedule to teach me and get me checkride ready. Appreciate it Nathan! Everyone here at this school is friendly and professional. It's a very welcoming environment. BPFS is a school you should definitely check out!

Decided to get my PPL on a whim. Decided on BPFS based on good reviews and they did not disappoint. From my discovery flight all the way to my checkride the crew was amazing. I got paired with Donesh as my CFI and he was great. Not just a great instructor but a great guy as well. His style of teaching was a perfect fit for me. Casual, fun, yet extremely knowledgeable and professional. Kai, who works behind the desk, always greeted me with a smile and was prompt in helping anyway she could. Not to mention she is also a badass pilot. It's clear the entire team is passionate about aviation and I felt like a part of the family while flying over there. Looking forward to getting my IFR with Braun Mahalo Guys

Micah getting ready to take my son for a test flight (Cessna 150).

My son is taking flight lessons with them, and we are absolutely thrilled with their expertise, level of attention, and professionalism. My son has been working with Micah, who is already making a big impression and encouraging my son to learn as much as he possibly can while also enjoying himself and doing what he loves. He is very hands-on, and inspires my son to step up and take the initiative to excel as a pilot. Even though my son still has five years before he can make his first solo flight, he is already working toward that goal with the help of Micah and Perry, who is the owner. This flight school came very highly recommended to me by a dear friend who is an excellent judge of character. I am so glad that we found this flight school, because it is the exact right fit.

Extremely satisfied with the professionalism and "ohana style" that this school has given me.

Extremely satisfied with the professionalism and "ohana style" that the people at this school has showed me. All instructors have went out of their way to help me and make sure i understood the material. I got my private license with minimal hours thanks to all the instructors here. If you want the best training and flying, look no further. 100% recommended

I've been to Oahu several times but have always wanted to do an island flight tour around the island. So when I saw a 75 minute tour around the island for a deal I jumped on it. We met Sam, our pilot, at the tower. He then drove us down to the plane. The flight around the island was awesome. I was able to pin point some beaches that looked calm, clear, and tourist free. He pointed out some areas of interest. Needless to say, I got some really cool pictures if the island. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely do it again! My guy left my glasses in the plane, so when I called to ask if they had them, Sam was so helpful. They left them for me at the tower to pick up (these were not cheap). So nice and accommodating.

My wife found this amazing company though some online deal they were running and booked it for our trip to Hawaii as one of the only things we actually scheduled for our trip and after that I didn't think much about it until we pulled upto the small airport and I realized how awesome this is going to be! We met Sam in the security check point/lobby/terminal/gate (yes it was all of those) and walked out to the tarmac to the awaiting 4 seat plane. After a few selfies in front of it we were buckling up, putting on the headsets and on our way! I got to sit shotgun and the plane even had a window which I had my arm out of (yes out of the plane!) constantly taking photos every possible second. We had the 30 minute flight and had scheduled it close to sunset which I would highly recommend. We flew over farms, mountains, neighborhoods and huge resorts. The sightseeing was amazing and everything you would expect. The whole experience of being on a small plane, chatting it up with the pilot and getting to ask every question you want about the instruments and what they do is really the best part, but you might as well do that in paradise and see awesome things. The plane is also for a flight school so if your sitting in front you have the a set of controls in front of you too that move just as the pilot moves. It's so tempting to go back and take some classes! You will have to have some adventurousness in you to do this as the small plane can still hit some turbulence and shake a bit. Perhaps it was my excitement or Sam's professionalism but there wasn't a second I was worried about our safety or anything the plane was doing. If your looking for something to do, go and book the tour! I can't wait until we go back to Hawaii again so we can do a longer tour. Sam said in the winter time you can see the huge wales in the North Shore from the tour which is now something I must do. Thanks for the amazing flight Sam and thanks to my wife for booking this!!!

I went on a flight with Sam during my recent trip to Oahu for work. I was pretty queasy the whole time (and am usually car/air/sea sick and sensitive) but Sam was an awesome pilot and seriously made me feel comfortable because his knowledge of the island terrain, flight rules and safety considerations really stood out. He is a great pilot and I am sure a terrific instructor since he seems so comfortable behind the... wheel ? stick? handle? Anyways he is a super awesome pilot and I would recommend him to everyone. It was truly an experience of a lifetime, and my boyfriend could not stop talking about it! We got pictures that are officially worth a thousand words. ;)

Great plane!

Great flight school and awesome way to see the island! Their 2017 Cessna 172S is in great condition and a pleasure to fly! Worth the visit - thanks!

George's aviation took me from .9 hours (I had previously had a discovery flight with a different…read morecompany) to private pilot in less than 50 days and that includes the check-ride. I was in Hawaii for work on a 50 day temporary assignment. I wanted to get in a flight or two while in Hawaii just to see the sights. Once I went up, I was hooked. George mentioned that he thought I could solo in Hawaii if I worked hard. Well, I got to solo at around three weeks. When that happened, George mentioned that I might be able to finish my PPL before I left the island. I thought he was crazy, but HE made it happen! George along with the rest of the team at George's Aviation treated me like family. I spent a lot of time with these folks and it never felt transactional. As a matter of fact, I'd have to ask them to pay so my bill wouldn't be so large at any given time! I got to know them very well and they got to know me. They all had a vested interest in my future as a pilot and I spent time outside the hanger with several of them going to dinner, sporting events and other local places having a great time! I was able to make some great friends while in Honolulu - especially at George's Aviation. George has several planes to choose from. He has everything from a six pack Cessna 150 for the budget conscious pilot all the way up to a nearly new Cirrus SR-20. I chose to fly in the newer Cessna 172S equipped with the G1000. He has three to choose from, so I never had to wait on a plane to be available. His maintenance staff is on-site and are constantly working to keep each plane airworthy and safe. Again, I never had to wait for a plane while in maintenance. I made several trips to check out his maintenance shop over the 50 days I was there and I can say that I trust the planes being worked on by George's Aviation to be safe and dependable. Now, back to the instructors. I had about five instructors helping me along the way, with two main instructors ensuring I was able to fly as often as my schedule allowed. These people worked day and night to ensure that I was safe and proficient. I had three instructors with me the night before my check-ride to make sure I was fully prepared. I was also able to knock out my high performance endorsement while I was in town also. I can't recommend George's Aviation enough. Thanks so much to George and Donna, along with Bianca and Spencer for making my dreams a reality. Also, a special thanks to Elan, Brandon, Dane, Jasmine and Jimmy for helping me throughout my journey to becoming a private pilot! And thanks to all those who I didn't mention specifically as there are many I connected with at George's and everyone there made me feel like a long time friend and welcomed me into their Ohana. Next stop instrument training!

And…read moreI can wholeheartedly say, training at George's Aviation has been a very positive experience. Their updated facility, advance simulator, friendly staff, knowledgeable CFIs, and varied planes to choose from are perfect for any flight school student, from the casual pilot to someone focused on a future at the airlines or corporate aviation. One aspect I appreciate is the personalized approach to instruction from their large network of CFIs. Not every student is the same and I appreciate their efforts in tailoring their instruction to fit my schedule and needs to become a competent and confident pilot. Lastly, the reality of the situation is the cost of training is high anywhere you go, but the experience gained while flying out of a busy Class Bravo airport like Honolulu International is uniquely invaluable. As a student, you'll learn more and be better equipped to tackle flying in a truly faced-paced professional environment. Look no further than George's for your flight training goals! -Joe Sillaman

We went in July and we paid $30 each for the day of rainbow reef. Once you pay, you can come and go throughout the open hours (10am-3pm). You don't need a specific time slot. You go to the booth and they give you equipment to use (snorkel mask, breathing tube, and life vest). You then shower off and head into the reef. The water of the reef is 76 degrees, which actually felt pretty chilly, but you get used to the temperature pretty quickly. I did notice a lot of kiddos didn't want to go in because it was too cold for them. My niece was crying because of the cold, but the employees all went over and beyond to make her feel comfortable and help her. She ended up doing a lap in the reef and then heading to the jacuzzi lol The rainbow reef was cool, but we felt that $30 each for the day was pretty pricy. We only swam once and felt like we checked the box.

Well the simple answer is because we're all looking for something new and different to do once in a while with family and friends. And that exactly why we ended up at Wai Kai. The obstacle course was a ton of fun, we took advantage of the other water activities too, and we also opted to get a couple cabanas too so we could all hang out. It was perfect for our group of 20. They taught us bow safety, stance and everything in between on how to improve our shot. We moved around to different targets and tried different target sizes and elevations. My girlfriend is right handed and was having a hard time shooting with her right hand. The instructor was so keen that he noticed my girlfriend was predominantly using her left eye and suggested using a left handed bow.
