The teachers and administration treat the all of the children as their own, and the knowledge my young children bring home every day is amazing. Ms. Tracy, who leads the Nido class, has a such gift with toddlers. She is patient, genuine and loving, and has a way of engaging and teaching that is truly unique. She is always on the floor along with the kids and creative enough to engage the various levels. We know our children adore Ms. Tracy which makes it so much easier to leave them every day. Ms. Tiffany is also in the Nido room and compliments Ms. Tracy perfectly. She is also always on floor with the kids and engages them in the creative learning activities. All of the kids seem to really enjoy Ms. Tiffany's company! Ms. Gabby has been in a couple of different rooms with my children at various times. Both of my kids gravitated to her immediately and still talk about her even though neither of them are in the same class as her anymore. She is playful, engaging, and loving. Ms. Lauren and Ms. Madeley were also with my kids at various times, and are also fantastic. They are usually there when I'm picking up and are very good at communicating with parents regarding the child's day, needs, etc. My children had the opportunity to be with Ms. Ashley a few times throughout their time at KLA. Ms. Ashley now leads the older 3s class and has a true gift. She is loving and patient but is great with molding manners and listening skills. The kids absolutely adore her. My daughter is no longer with her class and still talks about her daily, and hangs on her every opportunity she has. She has even asked if Ms. Ashley can come over to our house to play! Ms. Stephanie leads the 3s class and I envy her way of engaging and managing the crazy kids and personalities. She incorporates fun with learning that makes my 3 year old excited to go to school every day. Whatever activity she has the kids doing, she is right along with them on the floor, at their little table, etc. I could truly go on and on about about the teachers and staff at KLA. As a working parent you tend to feel guilty about leaving your kids on a daily basis. However, after so much time spent at KLA, I actually feel a little guilty on the days they are NOT there because I know they are probably having more fun and are learning more when they are there! You can feel confident that your children are in great hands when you are gone. Just don't feel bad when they cry when you come to pick them up because they don't want to leave... It happens to all of us!

She is excited to go to school and she is happy to be with her friends and teacher "Madeline" every single day. She sings "KLA School KLA School" when I am about to drop off. I know she has been taken care well as daily she states that she had a good day during pick up. Teachers are friendly and professional. I like the way they implement the Reggio education model. My daughter has picked up lot of words and started speaking in full sentences after joining the KLA School. Security around the premises is another comfort to know that she is well taken care of. She is well fed with organic food and has plenty of toys to play with. Every day the friendly staffs encourage to do what the kids like, my daughter makes different variety of bracelets, art work and now she can write the entire family member name. What I like the most is, teacher has learned how my daughter addresses us in our native language and communicates the same to her as well to make her feel home. KLA Schools also have the parent portal to communicate with parents on regular basis regarding the kid's progress. Compare to other schools that I have personally experienced nearby, KLA Schools of Plainfield is the best.

I was told they charge $15 surcharge on top of the tuition I'm already paying from Elaina for papers and materials they give the kids. My daughter attends this daycare for 3hours for morning and aftercare she is school age everything should be included in the tuition. Also I was advised by Keisha that my daughter could not start until child care assistance was approved unless I did self pay upfront and my account would be credited the amount I paid towards tuition once approved. That was a lie. My child care was approved from the date my child initially started March 23,2026. So they were back paid from the state and can't explain why my account is not being credited properly. I paid them $628 towards tuition before I was approved by the state. $257 of that money was credited for the month of April only. They charged me $92 for the one week in March she attended but can't explain why because my tuition is supposed to be $67 a week with assistance. I filled out a withdrawal form yesterday April 21st because I'm tired of them trying to over charge me stating that May 22,2026 would be her last day attending the daycare. So she will only be attending Daycare 3 weeks in May which should be covered by what I previously paid on the account if my tuition is $67 weekly. They sent a form home today back dated for 4/17 for fees for the full Month of May. But still can't explain what happened to the money I already paid towards the account. What I paid already should cover the total 8 weeks my daughter is attending this daycare. They still looking for me to pay more money and have not credited what I have already paid them as promised. Why am I being billed for 4 weeks in May and she only attending 3?

With all the kids that come in and out, Leslie knows them all by name and the parents! Due to covid, we have to drop at the door, but she never even has to ask me who I am there to pick up. She knows and cares about my son! My son and I were in a building fire the summer before he started preschool. Everyone evacuated safely, but it left my son very anxious about fire detectors, alarms and extremely nervous in those situations. Leslie and his teachers take extra care to keep an eye on him each month they have fire drills. She sends out a notice to all families about the drill and then PERSONALLY emails me about how my son reacted to the drill! With the support and compassion of his teacher, he seems to be letting go of that anxiety and fear during fire drills. I know that is due to their continuous reassurance and support. I can't thank them enough for not only teaching my son, but giving him a safe and loving environment when I am working. It gives me piece of mind to leave them in their care and he always has the biggest smile on his face when I pick him up! He shares about all the fun things he did each day our entire ride home. I definitely recommend LLCA- Crest Hill.

I want to introduce you to a new business that recently opened in Plainfield, Illinois. Lighthouse…read moreAcademy is a quality childcare center, and the third of their centers to open in Illinois. Lighthouse Academy is a quality day care center because of its cleanliness, structured curriculum, and nurturing caregivers. I would highly recommend them to families or caregivers looking for a highly educational program for their children. Lighthouse Academy is a quality day care center ran by a wonderful director and filled with enthusiastic and nurturing caregivers. The center is accredited by The National Association for the Education for Young Children (NAEYC) and The Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). They believe in the highest-level of education to help children learn and grow. The teachers are highly trained in CPR and First Aid. If they are not certified upon being hired, the center offers classes for them to become certified. Lighthouse Academy is a curriculum-based center, which means they follow guidelines while teaching their children, making sure there is structure in their day. Lighthouse Academy focuses on the development of each child intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically. By focusing on all four of those areas, they are helping build the "whole child". The center is known for its cleanliness and they uphold themselves to a high standard of being extremely clean. They clean the entire building at the end of every day. Each teacher is in charge of their own classrooms, and making sure that all toys and materials are bleached at the end of every day. It is very obvious when you walk into the building of this center that it is very clean and well taken care of. Finding a day care center that is right for your children is important. Early childhood is such an important time in life, and finding quality care can be hard to come across. It is important to find a center that has the same beliefs and philosophies as your own, and by observing centers you can learn which is the best fit for your child. I highly recommend families and caregivers learn more about Lighthouse Academy. I hope that by writing this review I will convince people to visit Lighthouse Academy so they can see for their selves how wonderful of a place it is.

Ive been charged a late fee every week since my son has been enrolled and the director still yet hasn't been able to give me an answer of how much i really owe. I made the worst decision ever putting my son in this center. The teacher told my sons grandmother that my son isn't actually dumb. What kind of feedback is that to a parent to a child with possible special needs? I received a video of my son and a teacher telling another child that his mom is going to kill her for getting paint on himself. I receive daily pictures of things that would not be accepted in a KLA center that I've previously worked for. The standards have completely dropped. The safety and wellness of my child is not being met receiving pictures of my son standing on furniture and playing on top of the garbage can. The tables are nasty. The teachers block senory sensitive toys from children so they dont mess up the room. My son had a mark from his eye to his hairline and his teacher told me that she didnt know why he had it when it was clearly fresh. She clearly was not watching him. They do not write incident reports. They don't want to clean up as my son was also being told he is messing up the room at 18 months old. If I had the choice to give this center 0 stars I would.
