It's not often that I rave but I must say that I am impressed with Smart From The Start for one in particular reason which I would say reflects them overall. So my children are 6 & 7 year olds in the after school age group whom have been at SFTS since birth, and my 13yr daughter old just timed out in May. SFTS has just completely transitioned in new leadership teachers and staff as a whole and have not missed a beat continuing to to prove that they are L.I.T. & I mean consistently show that they are LOYAL to their families INTERPERSONAL and approachable & TEAM driven as they work together to service families and our babies especially. I'd like to point out Ms Rhaniya who may only be here for the summer as she will be returning to school I assume this fall; for her honesty and informing me that my baby girl may have had a bad couple days and even mentioned for her to be careful of the bullying and she informed me of the good days that she was helpful, and I noticed that my daughter has a strong relationship with her as her teacher as sh'e's seemed to have had with all of her teachers, especially Ms. Lisa. I'm also shouting out Ms O for coming right in and doing the same as she will inform me when something needs handling. I don't personally know, but I don't think it'll be the easiest thing to do to come in as a Director, or an Assistant and work with others, but it seems as if all is going well, as I notice how she treats my little ones with love and respect while also teaching them manners politely, just as Ms Georgia, Frances, Stephanie, Katrina, and Michelle all do. I am a first time daycare mom and my two year old and three year old start attending in January i was scared and nervous because I heard some much bad about daycares but I'm glad I chose this daycare to watch over my children they welcomed my children with open arms made me feels so welcome and comfortable to let my children attend I love both my children's teacher Ms.Georgia I love her she taught my Daughter so much in so little time she very patient with Raine and i know she can be a handful and you can tells she loves what she does and all Raine talks about is Ms Georgia and Ms Michelle as well my two year old sons runs to her every times she comes get him she very loving and caring to my baby and I appreciate you all for helping with my children you guys are amazing and Katrina is a very welcoming person very polite and always be so happy she love what she do also Ms.Lalace she is not my kids teacher but still went out here way too meet me and my children I love her energy and I'm very observing and she loves and care for all the kids in the daycare not just her class she greets me and the kids everybody kids every time they come in she probably got a bond with every kids literally my kids just started and she know them more than me jp but you get the picture she Is a amazing women and I can tell shes and amazing mom and love kids you deserve a raise girl but Overall I'm glad I chose Smart from the Start read more

I worked here for 2yrs and half years and I love them so much. The company itself is ran by the nicest people you could ever work with. From meeting with the hiring manager Ms. Cha Cha who has the sweetest personality. To meeting the higher ups CFO and CEO they are both amazing people. Even the curriculum specialist. Ms. Kayliegh always available to ask any questions on and off the job. They show support in ways that I haven't received no where else and I have been in childcare for 19 years. My co-workers Ms. Michelle, Ms. Jay, Ms. Brittany, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Laina, Ms. D, and Ms. Kayla were the best I ever worked with. We looked out for each other always and for that I am forever grateful! They are my family. Every staff member there loved what they do. They all pour into the kiddos with everything in them! The cook at SFTS, Ms. Andrea, is so amazing! I just got my Basic Culinary certificate and I STILL can't get my son, Kaobi, to eat half of my meals! But he wants seconds and thirds at daycare when Ms. Andrea is cooking! At 12 months Dad and I didn't allow him to eat any meat for a while and Ms. Andrea made sure she remembered all of his dietary restrictions and when I said he can eat meat at 18mons she was more excited to cook for him than I was! She's just so sweet and loves my baby to the fullest! We love her! I literally can not explain how grateful I am for Ms. Julissa and Ms. Michelle. I love how patient Ms. Julissa is with my son. Ms.Michelle makes my day when she sends pictures of the toddlers doing activities. They keep me on my toes with my son and what he's learning, what he needs, and his progress. I know handling toddlers all day isn't easy at all so I really appreciate them. I've seen a change at SFTS since Ms.O arrived. She's always there ready to help with whatever I need when it comes to paperwork or pick up times. Ms. O also keeps communication open so I always know what's happening at SFTS. After leaving one school to another school I was I was nervous. The teachers open up there arms with love especially the infant room. After having my second baby I wanted to make sure the school I picked loves babies she was 6 months when she started and now she is 1 years old and she gets treated like they are one big happy family. Ms.Michell And Ms.Darielle take care of my 1 year old with love and supper gentle care half the time my baby don't even wanna come home with me she wants to stay with them. I love the toddler classroom the interaction they have with the babies and how my 2 year old is talking and being friendly more. The videos they send throughout the day is just helpful and keeps me calm knowing I'm sending my babies somewhere they are welcomed and I recommend three other family members and I know they feel the same way because they keep showing up. I am a teacher and parent of Smart from the Start, and I can honestly say of all the daycares/schools I worked at this is by far my favorite. my little one is two years old so she is currently enrolled in their Two's classroom and I can say without a doubt that the teacher, Ms. Wilson, in that room is AMAZING. Every week she make sure there is a lesson plan made with activities for them to ranging from using their motor skills to learning their ABC's, colors and numbers during circle time. I never have to worry about what's going on while I'm in my own class working because of brightwheel I can always see what is on the lesson plan as well as pictures and what she ate, and when she naps. I love this center, I consider this childcare center HOME. Our journey started in 2017 when my niece started in the infant room. The Director at the time gave our baby love and attention from the first day. They have a amazing app called brightwheel where we can receive updated all throughout the day. My favorite feature is the pictures we receive. Last fast forward 6 years and we are back with a new infant boy and the love, learning & attention are the same. Our infant baby's face lights up when he sees his Teacher Mrs. Laina in the morning. She is kind gentle and caring to our baby boy. I have a Toddler and a Second grader that I recently enrolled at Smart From The Start Daycare. I am taking the time out to give this review because I don't believe I could have found a better center. At first it was for convenience but I must say it's much more then that now that my babies are enrolled. Their brightwheel app allows me to receive daily reports and that along ease my stress. I have had my children in this daycare for 6 years, and I have absolutely love this place!! Not only have I developed a deep fondness of the staff here, but my children have also. They have so many cool classes for the little ones from Spanish to Yoga. Anything that we may need or whatever may situation may arise the staff always helps out with the resolution and accommodating our needs. My son has been attending Smart From The Start for before care, aftercare and transportation since the 4th grade and he now in 7th. The staff here treat my child just like he's their own. He has taken a strong liking to two staff members Ms. Georgia and Ms Stephanie because of the attention and care they give him. They have the students complete and also help them with their homework.
