Keep in mind, this owner will deny all information posted here & will reply with a "godly" response to cover for her disrespect. When I signed up I met with the director. During the time of waiting on a response from the application, she offers a discounted rate of childcare. I am a first time mom, so everything regarding childcare is new to me. I was discounted until we got an approval or denial. I received a message from Mrs. Bridgette with notice of my denial through the app they use at an inconvenient hour stating I was denied & in order to have my child back the next day I need to pay around $600! As this is my first child, I didnt know I would have to backpay the childcare since this wasnt explained to me. I was paying an out of pocket rate in CASH to the facility. Her handbook states she does not accept CASH PAYMENTS. During the time my child was attending Keeper's, it was explained to the director that me & my sons father were going to be in a court battle. Fast forward to a few weeks after this, me & his father come to an agreement on him picking our son up from there every other Friday. My sons father asked a staff member there for information on my payments made AND THEY GAVE IT TO HIM. During a court battle involving custody & child support a staff member let the opposing party know of the exact dates & amount of money I paid to Keeper's without my written consent as the handbook states. Mrs. Bridgette is denying this, but not sure how she would know this if she is never in attendance at her daycare to know what her staff is doing. He can describe the woman who gave him the information. Also, one day at pick up my sons father was asked by a staff member if he drinks alcohol. Very inappropriate. This event of my private information being given to his father caused a lot of issues. THIS WAS A BREACH OF PRIVACY LAWS. Mrs. Bridgette involves herself in business that is none of her business. It should never be a business owners place to state "You said his father was not involved in his life. Now you want to put everything on him". Regardless of MY SITUATION ITS NONE OF A BUSINESS OWNERS CONCERN. Personal feelings & business do not work out, so stay out of it. Be the boss, not a "friend". I asked if he can apply for the childcare assistance, she says yes. I asked several questions about what would need to be paid considering you give discounts during the application process, & since this is now on him he should be granted the same discount as everyone else. She doesnt treat everyone the same though. I get a reply saying she would need to review the application & let us know on the discount. He was not working at the time .I started getting messages regarding my sons fathers application & that the full payment was not made, but she refused to speak with him. Another breach of privacy laws. She states that I would be required to pay my regular rate weekly until we got a response. Meanwhile, a friend of mine who has a child going there is in the same situation with no job & they still pay little to nothing since the start. She didnt want those cash payments to stop flowing since that is probably going into her gospel singing career. Mrs. Bridgette is so disrespectful in how she communicates to the people keeping her in business. She doesnt treat every person with the same respect, unless money is involved. She doesnt take accountability for her or her staff & points fingers at the parents, kind of like a child. Ironic. She contradicts herself constantly. Everything from her rules & regulations to her one on one communication is inconsistent. I had to fight to get my copies of my sons birth certificate & social back when state guidelines don't even say these need to be kept on file. Plays victim. If you value your hard earned money, do not give this woman a dime. I highly recommend reviewing the state guidelines for daycares before trusting her word on ANYTHING. My child started at about 10 months old and the daycare appeared to be great, but about 7 months…read morelater, my child started crying and screaming not to go back. She's 1.5 years old at this point, and I couldn't get an explanation as to why, the communication was horrible. Then my child came home 5 days straight with an incident report (a different bruise/scratch/scrap) for 5 days straight, one full week. When the 6th incident occurred the following week with the blame placed on my child who's only 1.5, I was done with their services! when I went to pick her I was told that they had nothing to say to me about it and they refuse to answer my questions, or to return my pre-paid money that day. This place doesn't do a good job at supervision nor communication as to changes with a child. I don't recommend then if you're looking to get additional questions answered in a timely manor as the director is barely ever present, the staff barely speak English and are scared to answer questions as to saying the wrong thing. This is my true story, please second guess this place, before sending a child that can't talk and tell you what's happening to them.
