The school is very well run - with top notch communication and a staff of talented, caring teachers. While in the Kindergarten program, our son was asked to be a leader in the classroom and take on more responsibilities. We love the Co-Op Nursery school! He then went through their other classes - 2-year old, 3-day, and PreK. He is now doing great in Kindergarten and loves school and I feel that the Co-Op is a big reason why. My three-year old now goes to the Tuesday/Thursday class from 9 to 11 am and his teachers are wonderful - patient and caring and they are so dedicated to helping the kids participate in a lot of fun and educational activities. My 15-month old will start soon with the parent-tot class also. It is so fun to watch the little ones interact with each other and explore the activities and toys in the room. Since it is a Co-Op, you have the opportunity to participate in your child's education by being the third grown-up in the classroom once every 6 to 8 weeks. (Except for parent-tot where you stay each week.) If you work or otherwise are not able to be in the classroom, there is an option that the school can provide an aide. (Just costs a little bit more.) All of the staff are very special and so great with the kids! (And they often have good parenting advice too!)

From temperature screenings, limiting people in the building, extensive cleaning, and limiting exposure are fears are no longer there. It was such a blessing that he was able to attend *in person* while his siblings were at home doing virtual learning. I can't thank them enough for opening their doors during those uncertain times. He thrived socially and academically and was definitely ready for kindergarten the following year. (Thank you, Mrs. Reed!) He also knew quite a few classmates already which helped that first year in kindergarten. Once my daughter was old enough to start a preschool program it was very easy to choose LIF for her preschool experience. I knew she was going to be in great hands and we absolutely love her teacher, Mrs. Rea. My daughter had a little rough patch at the beginning of the year and and Mrs. Rea has been worked beautifully with her. The communication has been great too. I know this sounds simple, but the fact that my daughter has a smile on her face before and after school says it all. She loves it there. LIF has a wonderful reputation - I highly recommend it!
