I had been coming here for haircuts for the past year and had always had a fine experience. This most recent visit though, as I was getting my cut, another employee (possibly the owner) was there and he was an older guy with buzzed gray hair. This man proceeded to complain and rant loudly about transgender people and was repeatedly referring to them as "insane" and saying "they needed to be stopped" in a very angry and threatening tone. The entire experience was incredibly off putting and I won't be giving anymore business to this place that allows their employees to speak like that around their customers. 2nd time I'm there, first time wasn't good so I decided to give them another try. Kid named Efren gave me a cut. Results came out just terrible. You could see right away that he's not experienced. He cut the plastic gloves he had, missed many places and cut came out just not even. I asked in the beginning not to use the the machine and 5 seconds after he used it. I had the pleasure of giving them a try when they first opened. Followed them over here from their other location in North Hollywood. They are very consistent with hooking up amazing haircuts and the vibe in there is always very inviting and comforting. As Soon as you walk in, you can tell that every single person there was a master of their craft and proud of their work. That type of confidence only comes from people who know they are good at what they do. I get cut by Daniel who always gives me the best haircuts. If you're looking for a quality cut at a good price this would be the spot. I look forward to coming back every two weeks for my regular cut. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! My friend and I stopped by here yesterday after lunch so she could get her fade touched up. We asked how much it would be and they said $15 and we made an appointment to come back in a couple of hours. The final result was absolutely awful, and it was more than double the cost we were quoted initially. Oh and they don't take cards! When a customer inquires about pricing that would be a perfect time to mention that the business is cash only, and if you are a business that is cash only you should probably quote accurate pricing or at least something close to accurate so your customers can bring proper payment. I don't know how this business has so many good reviews and only pictures of good results. A simple fade should be executed flawlessly at a barber shop, and this result couldn't be worse. I booked an online appointment for a king cut and hot towel shave and was really happy with how my cut came out. The shop was really busy at the time of my appointment but Jose got to me pretty quickly and asked a lot of questions about how I wanted my hair cut and beard trimmed and was super attentive during the cut. He really took his time and made sure I was totally satisfied before I got out of the chair. Shop was very clean and well organized - these guys are total pros.
