I have been on a burrito bowl kick this week and was looking for something different. I discovered Barberitos was in my area and it checked the boxes. Much like you expect, it's made to order and you can top to your liking. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall same concept and good food! Pros: - there is a variety of topping options included in the price - chips and salsa are also included Cons: - it's served in a half rectangular box (so not as big as Chipotle and Willy's). - it's about $1 more than the other chains. Every time I come here, they never discipline food is always on point. Customer services is always on point. Food is good. It's enough to say for another day 10 out of 10 and I've tried the beef the chicken the spicy chicken tofu steak everything nachos burritos everything is good here. I will eat here before I even eat it chipotle or even illustrated burritos. read more

Not sure why I have been sleeping on Barberitos so long as I have been missing out! This Barberitos is located in a small shopping center alongside Sports Clips and a few other shops on Newnan Crossing Bypass. Out of the quick service Tex-Mex restaurants, I have always had a love for Moe's...but Barberitos may have positioned itself as the front runner after my latest visit! While there is no friendly and loud greeting at the door, the staff was sure welcome me when I hit the line. The staff was friendly, not super engaged, but engaged enough to make some bomb nachos and burritos! We had recently done a takeout order for a few burritos, all of which were made perfectly and packed with the goods! This trend continued on my next visit in when I ordered chicken nachos, which are a huge portion! Chips stacked with chicken and all the toppings you can fit, it was a challenge to eat it all, but my momma didn't raise no quitter! Overall, glad to see Barberitos in Newnan! I am hopeful that is wont suffer the same fate as the other Tex-Mex chains who gave Newnan a go. We ordered 2 steak burrito bowls through Grub hub, what we got was two containers full of spicy chicken, nothing else (no rice, lettuce, etc). We called and were told to call grub hub, or come to the restaurant for a refund (the purpose of using grub hub was to avoid going to the restaurant), and basically treated like it was our fault. Actually heard one person in the background saying they were out of steak. Grub hub is a decent business and refunded the total amount, cannot say the same about the restaurant. Poor customer service and worse service etiquette. The chicken was dry and we threw it away. Will not ever go to, or order from this place again. read more

Much better than chipotle in my opinion, but the guy who prepared my partners meal seemed out of it and didn't really have enough tofu for her vegetarian bowl, but didn't attempt to find more. There was also a moldy tortilla the preparer didn't seem to notice. Mine was great and fresh ingredients in the steak bowl. read more

Got food from here and the next day we was very sick. Come to find out we had food poisoning. We checked the food score and they have a 77!!! Not suppose to eat anywhere with a score under 90. I will never eat here again. I over heard an employee looking at their catering poster and he said our food looks nothing like this. do not eat here read more

We've gone several times because the food is decent compared to a Taco Bell or something but it's the service that has gone down. They had some workers before that were friendly but haven't seen them in a while. The last few times it's been different people each time which is fine but they all had the same attitude of not acting like they want to serve you and never a friendly smile. I'm not head over hills of CFA food but it's the service that makes soooo many people go. I don't get why most fast food places don't get this. I'm not saying I won't go back but it will be a good while... maybe by then another set of employees, and I'm apparently not the only in the reviews complaining about service. read more

I love the food here and the in-store experience. It's similar to Moe's but I like the flavor more. I would just advise you go to the store to order. They never get online orders right. I've had everything from receiving the completely wrong order to putting meat on my tofu salad and they never get all the ingredients you want either. Always something missing. We came here thinking it was more of a regular Mexican food joint. But instead, it's more of a set up similar to Chipotle or Qdoba. It has a 'salsa station' but it isn't as vast as Baja Fresh. Portion are large. Food is above average. QUESO was good. Would I go back?...I don't know if I want to go back. But I didn't dislike the food either. We went in on either the first or second day they were opened. The employees were great and welcoming. You could tell they were still getting in the swing of things but were great! My problem was with the food. The portions are tiny compared to other similar places. The chicken was bland. Everything seemed unseasoned. There was nothing really special about it. With a chipotle coming soon, a Moes down the street, and a Willies not too far away, I'm not sure what this place does that's any different. In most ways it was not as good as those places with the same prices. They even charge for sour cream. The last problem I had was that it seemed most of the managers were all sitting together at a table in the seating area while everyone else worked. One manager was sitting at a table with a friend while he told other employees what to do. Just didn't seem like a great first impression. My family loves this place. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The owner even remembers my daughters order every time we visit. She would eat here 7 days a week if we let her. I'm impressed that they offer a vegan burrito that is a great value and super tasty. The tofu is seasoned just right and the black beans are top notch. This location was the first Barberitos I've ever tried. I've heard a lot about this place and its comparison with "Tex-Mex" competitors for quite some time, since many of my friends reside on the eastern/southereastern part of the state (where many Barberitos are). I was expecting average food-- but I was pleasantly surprised with my food! The meat was perfectly seasoned and so fresh. It made all the words difference in taste. I'm sorry about this. I try my best to always look for the best in things. However, this place is to expensive for what you get. It wasn't bad food, but you shouldn't have to pay $7.00 for a burrito and then $2 bucks more for a spoon full of sour cream and guacamole. $10.00 for a burrito and a small drink is insane. read more
