I was not offered any refreshment, and apart from asking me if the water was ok, no conversation was made by the stylist at all. I felt extremely awkward, and could not wait for her to finish. The cut was mediocre, and I couldn't even bother to tell her that she hadn't even cut my fringe. I had to remind them that I had also booked in to have my nails done, and was taken up stairs by a young girl. The state of her nails did not bode well for a good service. She quickly did my nails, with poor quality varnish, which she had to keep adding varnish remover to to thin out, the overall finish was not good, but after being left on my own for 10 minutes to dry my nails, I again could not be bothered to tell them that some of my nails weren't up to scratch. After paying £51 for my treatments, and as a new customer, I most definitely will not be returning to Todaris. They are extremely overpriced and I most definitely did not feel like a valued customer, and clearly they do not need extra clients.

I once had my…read morehair styled by a Senior stylist at Toni & Guy in Manchester and even she commented on how great my colour and cut was - which of course had been done at Todaro's! The staff are all so professional and very talented . . I always get exactly what I want and more. The beauticians upstairs are also amazing - I would recommend each and every one of them. I have been a customer at Todaro's for almost 20 years and I would NEVER go anywhere else!

Went in here today to wait for my husband who was having his hair cut (as the usual place was…read moreclosed). Usually no need for an appointment customers sit on one of the sofas against the wall to wait their turn. There were three girls working there today so my husband had scarcely any wait at all. The blonde girl who cut his hair was very pleasant and chatty. I think she cut his hair better than the place where we usually go and it cost £6 not bad these days! The salon is neat, clean and smart with black and white decor and the staff also wear black and white. Found in the pedestrianised Angel Street in the town centre. A couple of years ago I stumbled upon this barbers and as I disliked my current one I thought i'd give this one a go. Im really glad I did, the staff are very friendly and down to earth. They genuinely seem interested in your custom and they cut my hair very well. I have been there several times now and had my hair cut by different people, but they were all very good. The price is also very reasonable and it is one hairdresser I have no problems giving a tip to when I pay.
