The attention to detail in the shop is amazing, and the proprietor has worked extremely hard in creating a place that is actually a pleasure to get your hair cut. My 5 year old son loved it, and wants me to take him again. Shame we live up north!

Wouldn't be surprised if the other reviews were fake…read more I sat there for a while after arrival (roughly 20m) - which I'm fine with - but after the wait, the barber finish's the current cut the turns to a guy who came in after me to go up. The barber pauses, realises the customer who he called up is not someone who was booked in for the slot (someone called Sean at 6ish) and in fact that the mysterious Sean who booked for 6 o'clock ish, isn't here at all. All fine up until this point, mistakes happen... but then rather than ask who came in first, or just called up the first person to come in, who's been waiting the longest, he just lets the guy who he mistakenly called up to sit down in the barbers chair continue. At no point did either barber check whether I was a walk in and therefore wasting my time if I had no booking. they just let the random guy who agreed to being Sean when he wasn't, get a cut... To summarise, they let the random guy they called up stay, presumably from not having the stones to correct their mistake I.e. bad customer service, - as I arrived first - instead the barbers turns and says to me that I could probably come in tomorrow... bro. It's 6pm, do you think I can do in the day tomorrow? Are you stupid? I would have done that if I could. Better yet, I'd go somewhere else. But this place is the only one open late. Presumably because they don't earn enough in the day cause it sucks. If you're going to try walk in, just agree to whatever name they call you and that works. Otherwise, if you're tired and stressed and wanna get your hair cut, they're garbage and you should go elsewhere. I'll just quietly hope they go bankrupt cause that was a maddening experience. Long as f experience, they might cut well, but that was annoying af. And it's sis at the 5 star reviews, either they pay for them, get them taken down if they're bad, it's perfectly natural for some bad reviews. I wouldn't trust the place, so if you're not local, just avoid it. If you are, other places have 5 stars too, enjoy.

Had a tip from a friend to check this place out. The place is quite hipster in a good way without…read morethe pretentious attitude. Owners greet everyone walking in and offer coffee while you wait. I walked in on a Saturday and even though they were booked solid, I was able to get a cut from Joseph. He did a great job and one of the owners walked over to make sure everything was done right. That sealed it for me. Make sure you call up if it's the weekend. You'll not regret it.

I Visited bude today and in need of a haircut, so I went to Just Gentz…read more There was three female barbers and five men and boys waiting in the queue. I sat and waited patiently, while these incredibly slow haircutters chopped there way through the customers. After 45 minutes it was my turn, only for my barber to announce to her two colleagues that she was off to take her lunch. Two things struck me at the moment I slumped with dejection to the news that I was not going to get my haircut. The first was that an acknowledgement of my extended wait, and an offer of a cup of coffee may have been compensation. The second was, that this girl could have afforded to miss a lunch. 45 minutes of my life I will never get back. I will never go there again and would never recommended the place to anyone.

Went in here today to wait for my husband who was having his hair cut (as the usual place was…read moreclosed). Usually no need for an appointment customers sit on one of the sofas against the wall to wait their turn. There were three girls working there today so my husband had scarcely any wait at all. The blonde girl who cut his hair was very pleasant and chatty. I think she cut his hair better than the place where we usually go and it cost £6 not bad these days! The salon is neat, clean and smart with black and white decor and the staff also wear black and white. Found in the pedestrianised Angel Street in the town centre.
