Visiting from Cali, and wanted to give my 20 month baby boy a nice cut for a wedding we're attending. This place was across the street from our hotel and thought we give it a shot. Found out it's by appointment only but we lucked out and Jonn was able to get us in. The place was clean and Jonn was so friendly and patient with our boy. This was the best decision ever. This is the worst place to get a haircut. I came here sat for an hour, watches 2 people getting attended before me even though they came after me. Eventually i got frustrated and left. One staff member left in the middle even though 2 customers were waiting. Last time I went there, they had some other excuse. Staff is very slow and lacks customer service. My first time going to this place and I got hair cut by Jorge. Super clean and organized atmosphere made me feel at ease. Definitely a more contemporary barber shop with new furniture, nice art, and a few TVs scattered throughout. Jorge was super cool and did a great job with my hair. We made conversation, which normally I'm not a fan of but Jorge is really easy going so it made it flow smoother. Got a haircut here because I was working in the area and wasn't going home for a few weeks. The guy used a clipper almost all the way to the top, and the very top with scissors. The top was uneven and the sides weren't much better. Then he charged me $30, for one of the worst haircuts I've ever had. I had to wait weeks until I got back to Chicago to have my regular barber fix it for me. Three stars because all the other barbers actually looked like they were doing a really good job. Most barber shops close on Sundays but not this place which is a plus for me. It is a clean and very modern environment with popular music constantly playing while you enjoy a haircut by some really good barbers. I have been here about 4 different times and have never left dissatisfied. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for something different, new, and with great results. read more

The barbers take there time with every hair cut, they make sure you leave with a great haircut. I've recommended this barbershop to several friends and they have been getting hair cuts here since. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately they don't really live up to their name. I have gone here on several occasions and have given Barber God's many chances but the haircuts are mediocre at best. There's really only one, maybe two barbers here that have cut my hair that I felt like they did a good job of cutting my hair. For the $30 dollars that they charge the experience should be much better in terms of the quality of the haircut you receive, efficiency of the business and time management which Barber God's fails on all fronts. No one wants to spend their entire morning at a barbershop. This is the real frustration of this place; they don't have good time management skills. Even with an appointment it can take about and hour from the time you walk in until the time you walk out and that is being generous. If you're business hours are 10am-2pm on Sunday then you should really be there at 10am ready to cut your client's hair. You shouldn't have a line of people waiting outside your business for you to stroll in 10-15 minutes late. It's very unprofessional and I don't see how this place is still in business. read more
