I needed a crown reaffixed, Dr Prill told me I needed a new one. At the time I didn't know that she…read morewas motivated by greed and not customer care. So without a second opinion I agreed to a new crown. Her dental assistant talked me into a mouthguard which was ineffective for its purpose. Moreover, it caused damage to my existing dental work. The mouthguard was made of hard ridged material which is not recommended for people who have restorative dental work aka crowns and fillings. The pressure causes the bonding and cement to weaken and crack. Hence, I lost a crown and a filling. Dr. Prill refused to take responsibility for the damage caused by her inappropriate night guard, nor would she replace the night guard which did not fulfill its intended purpose. I am now facing thousands of dollars more of dental work discomfort, and time consuming appointments. When it comes to dental ethics, there is a term called malfeasance. This is when a doctor does more harm than good. I intend to file a complaint with the FLORIDA board of Dentistry. Here are some complaints made be other patients of Dr. Prill's. "I absolutely concur." DISHONEST, FRAUDULENT, MISLEADING! She took the time to fully answer all of our questions. Her knowledge, experience, professionalism, thoughtfulness and thoroughness put our fears to rest. The extraction went well and was performed in a timely manner. She discussed our questions about after care. She provided a number to call to reach her after hours as well. The front desk and surgical staff were friendly, professional, and answered all of our pre and post procedure questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice as they are excellent. I cannot say that about other dental specialists in the area.

I had two (broken) wisdom teeth extracted last month and was able to have them successfully…read moreremoved. There were no complications and recovery was fairly quick for me (I also applied DMSO for faster healing.) I was shown what possible complications could potentially occur during surgery and what those options would be (just in case) before commitments were made. Everything went well and the contingencies were not needed. I did not have covering insurance, but the costs were not any more than my in-network insurance dentists had quoted. The latter may also be a reflection upon unscrupulous in-network dentists (name withheld) refusing to grant treatments without agreeing to unnecessary procedures, it is worth noting that I didn't have any unneeded options being pressed with this dentist, and I appreciate that honesty and professionalism. For the dentist and staff, thank you. There were no problems requiring follow-up!

I've been a patient at this dentist for a little over a year now I think. And most every case…read moreexcept for one of the cleanings I've had a very dissatisfactory experience. I recently had a tooth extracted and it was probably the worst tooth extraction I've ever had. I have had a total of 7. 6 of them by other dentists and one at this dentist. What should've been a routine extraction has resulted in the most pain I have ever felt. Dentist was extremely rough in removing the tooth and did not section it like she should have given how difficult it was to remove. Instead, she just pride and pride and pride and Hurt most all my other teeth on the top in the process. Her response to the pain was "it is normal". Based on my experience with other dentists, this is not at all normal. Some pain is expected. Given the severity of the pain I would have expected, and in fact, asked for a prescription painkiller to deal with it. Their response was "take Tylenol". They have no after hours number and the phone does not even go to an answering machine after hours. You are just stuck with whatever happens or you can find somebody else. I'm incredibly unimpressed with my experience here.

Most of the time it's a great experience, which is weird to say about a dentist office. However ive had quite a few unusual experiences with the office people over time. The most recent Holly, I think her name was, was very snappy and passive aggressive about answering simple questions and seemed very anxious to get off of the phone.Literally while I was thinking about how to respond she eagerly says "good luck bye". it's small things like that which will rub you the wrong way, especially when you spend thousands of dollars at this place. It's one thing to be nice, it's a complete other to be fake nice especially when you are only answering a few questions from a regular customer. But yes from my personal experience- once you get past the staff it's a good experience.
