My young niece, brother and mother and several friends have seen Sheila quite a few times for…read moreproblems ranging from back / shoulder and hip pain to difficulties with continence and stress. I have had treatments for shoulder and neck pain and can honestly say the effects were instantaneous. My young niece had severe constipation when she was just a few months old and was prescribed suppositories by her GP but understandably, her parents wanted to at least try an alternative before using them. Within 24hrs of Sheila massaging her feet in various spots, the little lass opened her bowels with a vengeance and created havoc in my brothers household!! Sheila's referrals tend to be via word of mouth although she has established a considerable amount of regular customers for treatment. As well as Reflexology, she provides other forms of alternative therapy treatments such as massages, healing etc. She will see people at her own home and in a specially adapted treatment room or will visit and treat people at home. Not sure exactly what the qualifications are but know she undertakes continuous training and refresher courses for the treatments she carries out and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (voluntary register for UK alternative therapists) What I like about Sheila is that she is not the sort of therapist that will tell you everything can be solved by reflexology and if you are suffering from prolonged or severe symptoms, she will advise you to seek medical attention and emphasises that her treatments compliment conventional medicine. I'm still none the wiser as to how Reflexology actually works or why but can't argue with the fact it works!

Ahhh Charleen you're a saviour! It took 2 visits but she fixed my bloody hamstring injury that had…read morebeen so hard to detect! I had been sat at home self-diagnosing for a good week or so, gradually becoming more and more depressed that I couldn't play football when I finally decided it was time to get some treatment. I booked in at The Good Health Centre as the main guy there, Dougie, had treated loads of my friends and family members, but as I booked in short notice it was Charleen who I was booked in to see - she is brilliant! Anyone who has endured a proper sports massage will tell you theres very little relaxation involved in it as the idea is to get those knots out and work those tight parts of your body into a more natural fluid state. Charleen certainly does that. The first massage helped loosen up my hamstring but 2 days later I could still feel a slight kink in there, so I booked back in and they made an effort to fit me in on that day - great service. The second massage hit the spot, literally. As my hamstring was a little looser for this one, it enabled her to pinpoint the exact spot that was pinching and 45 agonising minutes of me gripping the treatment table later I felt ready to play again - and I did, 2 days later for the full 90 minutes. The best bit about these guys though, and this goes for Charleen, Dougie and the entire team, is they tell you whats causing your pain and what to do to prevent it in future! I think I'll be making a weekly or bi-weekly massage part of my regime now - and a £30 a time you can't really knock that! I can play football again. So happy Matty is back.
