Essential Bodyworks - Baton Rouge, LA
Reviewed by - F. Smith - Busted back, heavy legs
Session Date - September 19, 2025
I didn't walk in for candles or cucumber water. I limped in like a suspect with a secret. My lower back was stacked with tension like case files no one wanted to touch. My legs? Heavy as wet cement.
Then Myra stepped in. Cool eyes. Steady hands. No small talk. She read the evidence, cracked her knuckles, and went to work.
Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology--each move a clue, each press a revelation. Her hands weren't just working muscles; they were interrogating them. Every knot confessed. Every ache spilled its story.
For women:
The room wraps you like a velvet alibi--safe, warm, restorative. A sanctuary where the world can't follow.
For men:
Forget the fluff. This is results‑driven detective work. My back hadn't bent right in months. She solved it in one session. Case closed.
For anyone dragging stress like a ball and chain:
She'll pick the lock, swing the door wide, and let the light pour in.
Fifteen years in the field, and it shows. She's not just licensed--she's legendary. The kind of therapist who turns pain into poetry, fatigue into freedom.
Sometimes a massage hurts--but it's the good kind of hurt, the kind that whispers, "You're a healing buddy."
Do yourself a favor. Book the session. Take the shot.
You won't just feel better. you'll feel reborn.
