Dr. Ablow and her team are amazing and took great care of my dental needs throughout the procedure. I ended up with dry socket on one of the extraction sites, and had an infection. I followed all instructions diligently--but sadly, I believe the bone graft procedure was a very bad choice for me. I felt pressured and did not have enough information about the situation and was forced to make the decision on the spot without knowing the chances of it actually achieving desired results. Since then, I've been having pain in the surrounding teeth (which I did not have before the extraction). When I returned for my visit to find out if I was eligible for an implant after my bone graft, the dentist told me I was not eligible for an implant. She had nothing to say about the chronic pain I've been experiencing and told me to go back to the regular dentist. I was not offered a refund or even a partial refund for the unsuccessful bone graft which the dentist suggested. It was a waste of money, recovery time and months and months of chronic, unexplained pain at the site. I regret being talked into the procedure as I gained nothing from it. I do not recommend this practice. This was not my first oral surgery and I regret spending my money at this dishonest business. Also/-the office staff is nice but the entire office smelled very badly of fish today, making my visit especially unpleasant.

Today is my second post operative day, and my gum has almost completely covered the extraction site, I've had virtually no pain, required just two Tylenol the first day, and can honestly say that it was easier than some crown preparations I've had. I had a severely infected tooth that the doctor ignored, filled twice, and told me he could not see me for another month and a half. He said jokingly "do not eat any corn!" He really didn't care. I have just had my tooth removed from a wonderful dentist, and when I asked to have my records sent over they said they were holding my records, because I owe them $60, a bill they sent me on Saturday and I mailed it in today Monday. He didn't place the implant properly so now I have to go through all these steps to try to get my mouth fixed and file malpractice against this facility, the people inside of it are awful people. They are just the worst people you could ever find on the planet and it figures I had to come find this place because it's close to where I live. Before the…read moreprocedure, I mentioned, apologetically, that I had accidentally eaten a single butterscotch candy during the fasting window. Dr. Kressley mumbled ominously under his breath, "I hope nothing happens to you." He didn't seem to want me to hear it, but I did, and it immediately spiked my anxiety. When I asked him why he would say something like that right before surgery, he gave me no explanation no apology no reassurance. I had already told both him and his colleague that I was very nervous, and that comment only made things worse. When it came time to go under, I told the staff I needed a minute. Instead of respecting that, Dr. Kressley pushed forward despite my repeated verbal objections. I wasn't resisting physically, but I was clearly in distress and asking not to be put under yet. The next thing I knew, I woke up without my wisdom teeth. Recovery was also rough. I bled heavily for almost a week, far longer than expected. While I understand complications can happen, the overall lack of care, empathy, and professionalism left me in disbelief. I chose this office based on a friend's recommendation, so this probably isnt typical for him. But my personal experience was terrible I do NOT RECOMMEND.
