I had a tooth extracted here in December, and Dr. Ablow told me if I ever wanted a dental implant, I would require a bone graft. I followed all instructions diligently--but sadly, I believe the bone graft procedure was a very bad choice for me. I felt pressured and did not have enough information about the situation and was forced
to make the decision on the spot without knowing the chances of it actually achieving desired results.
Since then, I've been having pain in the surrounding teeth (which I did not have before the extraction). When I returned for my visit to find out if I was eligible for an implant after my bone graft, the dentist told me I was not eligible for an implant. She had nothing to say about the chronic pain I've been experiencing and told me to go back to the regular dentist.
I was not offered a refund or even a partial refund for the unsuccessful bone graft which the dentist suggested. It was a waste of money, recovery time and months and months of chronic, unexplained pain at the site. I regret being talked into the procedure as I gained nothing from it.
I do not recommend this practice. This was not my first oral surgery and I regret spending my money at this dishonest business.
Also/-the office staff is nice but the entire office smelled very badly of fish today, making my visit especially unpleasant. read more
