Stepping inside is an experience in itself because the restaurant is housed in a stunning historic building, and the interior is filled with amazing historic decorations that add so much charm.
As someone looking for gluten-free options, I was thrilled to see they have a dedicated page on the menu just for gluten-free starters and sides. They even provided me with safe gluten-free bread accompanied by separate olive oil containers, which is always a great touch. We started by sharing the fries, which are made in a dedicated gluten-free fryer, and they came with an addictive spicy mayo sauce. To drink, I ordered a spritz topped with a delicious foam, and it honestly was the best spritz I have ever had.
For my main course, I ordered the gluten-free pappadelle with zucchini cream, modified with no meat. It was very good, though the rich sauce became a little heavy after a while when you keep eating. We were too full to look at the dessert menu, but everything else made up for it. Our waitress was extremely nice, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu and allergens. Between the history, the great drinks, and the safe gluten-free options, this place is a must-visit!
