I was there on Dec 11 and dropped a couple of hundred on dog food and that's how it happened! Central Bark Doggy Daycare has got to be the best team in town, hands down!…read more Not only are all the staff extremely easy to talk to, they make me feel at ease, which as a crazy pet parent can be hard! Our dog Ivar has been to other daycares and always came home cranky, moody and when it came time to drop off... he didn't want to go. With Central Bark, he doesn't even hesitate, and he comes home happy, tired, and excited to go back! We recently used their overnight boarding services while we were out of town getting married and I felt silly for even worrying the slightest that he would be safe and have good time. I got multiple updates everyday (photos and Kim answered all my questions), I actually felt bad for picking Ivar up and ruining his weekend of fun!

I'm not sure why Yelp felt the need to hide all the positive reviews and leave the negative ones. I'd never been into a global pet foods before moving into the neighbourhood. I have now and I can say that I love it. The staff here are highly knowledgable and really care about your pets. They're willing to go above and beyond to make sure you and your pet is happy. They helped me out with a tricky food situation for my cat and saved me money doing it. They have a great food and litter loyalty program and carry all the brands you could want OR can order them in if by some off chance they don't have the ones you're looking for. From now on, I'll come here for all my pet needs.

We recently had two incidents with a dog owner who completely disregarded the off-leash by-laws and his large dog chased our small dog and rolled her and bit her like she was a stuffy toy it was playing with. The owner couldn't of cared less. He just shook his head and reacted like "oh well" and he's not the only one. Their are number of older folks and some small children that use this park as well and this type of behavior is increasing so be aware if you do choose to go to this park. My recent experience with the reception staff and the Veterinarians confirmed my approval of this clinic. The front staff is always pleasent, the other staff always come and say "hi", giving my pup a good scratch. They have pictures up on the walls of the staff with their pets, it reassures you that they are owners too, that they love animals. There is always at least 2 dogs behind the front desk, a cat here and there. The check-up rooms are always clean. The Doctors are always thourough and talk with you about your dog, not just at you. When I had my dog nuetered I knew that he would be taken care of. He loves people and they took an interest in him, which I am sure they do with all the animals coming though there. We had no issues with his surgery, the incision looked great and healed well. Their prices for visits and shots are reasonable. The nutering was quite pricey, but we did pull out all the stops, like extra pain meds, the infamous "cone" and a microchip. They have a wall of toys for pets, as well as an extensive stock of Doctor recommended foods. I have been nothing but pleased with their treatment of my pup and their friendliness to me. I will definitely keep Crowfoot Vet as my go-to place for my pets!

We asked many questions and of course received very suspect answers, "why would you need a air bubbler? Just wait and if the fish start gasping for air at the surface then you should get one." Hmmm... we should wait for the poor fish to start suffocating eh? After the 'expert' advise we decided to start looking elsewhere for our aquarium keeping knowledge and we happily stumbled across Franco's Aquariums! A wonderful paradise for swimming friends of all types. The selection of gilled acquaintances was absolutely overwhelming, where to start? Who swims well with who? How much do they eat? In comes Linda, an upbeat kind and straightforward woman (not at all impressed by the aforementioned pet store). Her vast knowledge of this untapped world was astounding, she easily figured what we wanted in our tank and who would accompany them. It was a wonderful lesson, every one of her recommendations was a home run so we left with 9 wet companions, and 4 days later we returned for another 5. All as healthy as can be with personalities all in their own. It doesn't just end after you leave the store either, she makes sure you're tank is habitable and safe by checking the condition of your water frequently, which brings some peace of mind! The lady there was quite helpful however I find that she can be quite overbearing on getting you to buy things. She would open up the food packages before I could even get a chance to say I'd buy it or not. Once opened I felt obliged to buy them. Also, I was told to buy a water test kit even though my water seemed fine (after she tested it).
