I am a flatlander from Los Angeles, CA on vacation, On my trip home, my RV began to overheat 1 mile from the RV Resort. AAA and my auto Ins. were no help with getting it towed to a local repair shop. I limped my coach back to the Resort and contacted Martin. I informed him I was from out of the state and had to get back home for work. He did not see that as a problem. Martin was able to remove the faulty water pump and had the replacement part with in 2 days. Because he was so efficient and extremely fairly priced, I asked him to repair a few other things on the RV I have been putting off fixing because no one where I live is this reasonable. Martin had everything repaired within a week. I have since made my recovery trip and was able to drive home with no issues. I can't recommend Martin's Mobile Service highly enough. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Martin is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to take pictures and explain what was wrong with my RV in a way that was easy to understand, and he offered transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Where do I start? First time I went there, Matt got me in when I had a time crunch, even though he…read morewas quite busy. Started taking my three vehicles there, and every time, good service and good prices. An old truck was having some road noise issues. I took it to the dealer, who wrote me up a service order for $2600. I suspected that Matt's could beat that price. I left the truck at Matt's, but Matt called me after 20 minutes, and said I needed to come back to the shop. That worried me a little, but when I got there, he had my truck up on the lift, and showed me that all 4 items the dealer said needs replacing, were sound and didn't need repair or replacement at all. Saved me $2600 (less the cost of the shocks that he pointed out were in poor condition..and then almost all the road noise went away!). That sure cemented me to use only Matt's. Brought my cargo trailer in prior to a long road trip, and I wanted them to check everything out. They did, and when I offered to pay, he said "No charge. Didn't take us long, and you're a good customer..." or something like that. I am a mechanical idiot, but they never talk down to me, or make me feel stupid. And I always get a fair price from them. I will say that the gentleman seems to have narrowed down where the problem might be, but he stopped short of knowing for certain that he found the problem or actually fixing the problem. I would prefer to find someone who will actually fix the problem -- especially if I'm going to pay nearly $400.00. I'm confident that Torque Truck could probably fix almost any other mechanical issues, but electrical problems isn't his specialty.
