This place is awesome! I went with a friend who is familiar and wanted to check it out before bringing my dog, and I'm happy to say I certainly would bring my (small) dog. This day was a bit more chill than usual due to the weather but it was great to see all the play areas for dogs, including some for small dogs. Additionally, they have dog referees to supervise and help keep the dogs safe if they get too rowdy. Even if you don't come with a dog, it's good entertainment, not to mention great indoor and outdoor seating. Nice sized TV and pretty good food and drink selection as well. Very inviting atmosphere and I'd love to return, perhaps pairing it with a nearby KC Current game.

Fun place for brunch- smaller portions which are great when you're not wanting a huge meal! We sat at the very top outside so we could watch the dogs play-- brunch and a show! Our server was super friendly, and I love that they have a variety of iced and hot coffee options. Lots of cocktails too!

We had way too much fun at Bar K! I like how they keep the big dogs away from the tiny dogs and there are wonderful security features where you can leave your pup in a play area and go inside and order lunch or drinks! When your pup is done playing, there is a convenient shower area to clean off paws and get ready for the ride home! I like that there is plenty of supply areas to clean up poppies, disinfectant spray is provided with paper towels and poop bags. The play equipment is fun! And there is lots of shaded areas to keep you cool! We will be back! I want to explore the bigger playground! Satchel loved the dog menu and enjoyed the doggie ice cream! Clean fresh water bowls are available everywhere!

Well we found a bit of doggie Heaven on earth here! Our dogs love to be able to run and play and we loved watching them while enjoying great food and drinks. (And so did the pups) If you want beverages and food while you watch your pups play, this is your ideal place to hang out. My pups enjoyed Turkey jerky and ice cream while my husband and I had some adult beverages and tried out the chicken salad sandwich and bar k burger. Both were really good. We can't wait to go back!

Great place to take your dog after work if you are in the area. There is a cover fee if you do bring your pet that's $10 but free entry if you don't have your pup. The food actually surprised me, the chicken tenders were crunchy but didn't have too much breading and the fries were fantastic with their house honey mustard. The hot honey chicken sandwich tasted great but the chicken breast I got was way too small for that massive bun. The cocktails offered were a bit too sweet for me as well but my friends seemed to like them.. I switched to beer after one. I will say be prepared to wait for your food.. it was about a 35-40 min wait after ordering. It was all fresh at least!

My dogs and I love This place. Will be back to write a longer review. Brought Bella here in July, 2021. Brought Jasper and Sparky in February 2022. Dogs and their owners LOVE this place! So glad to hear there is now one in St Louis. Hope these open up all over.

I honestly didn't expect much from the food because I thought the main focus would be on the dogs, but that was not the case. We lucked out with $10 Weekday Lunch Specials (4 entree options, includes 1 side and soft drink) which is absolutely unheard of in this economy. While the wrap looks smaller than the typical wrap, it makes sense considering the price. And though portion size may have been sacrificed, the quality and taste of both the Bar K Burger and the Hot Honey Chicken Wrap tasted way better than anticipated. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and we love a potato bun --- one of the better burgers out there. The Hot Honey Chicken Wrap had a subtle honey taste, was not really spicy at all, and the sweet pickled onions really topped off the wrap. And the fries were perfectly fried and crispy. Service was relatively quick and our server was super friendly. The space was bright and airy, even on a cloudy day, with seating options on two different floors. I may not be a dog owner, but I would love to come back and enjoy the atmosphere on a summer day.

This place is a God send! I can work on my homework in the evening while my dog plays, and can also get a cocktail and get us both food if I want. There are employees who will watch the dogs while you are working, and the area is big and clean. After the first time going, I knew I needed a membership!! It has been so great to meet other dog lovers and allow my dog to play here!!

This is the perfect happy place for dog lovers with and without their own dogs. There is a small dog area and a large dog area (where small dogs are allowed) with a water area during warm months, plenty of water bowls + tennis balls, a jungle gym, and most importantly dogtenders who keep the peace and make sure everyone is safe. During the winter, there is a large tent outside with heat lamps. The restaurant offers good food and has a dog menu as well. The inside bar has coffee, cocktails, beer on tap, slushies, and just about anything else you could want. On weekends, they offer "Doga" with a mimosa. They also host breed-specific meet ups, adoption events, and puppy training classes. There is no admission fee for humans, just for dogs, but they offer yearly memberships with lots of perks!

I love their mixed drinks (the blue and the pink one, can't remember what it's called specifically). You need to sign a waiver to get in (and you can do so beforehand). There were so many friendly puppies there. It was a great place to hang out and meet others. I would definitely come back here for the vibes and for the cute pets that people bring. It's a bigger space than you would think, so definitely lots of room for pets to meander around!

I never thought that a dog park/bar would have amazing food! Seriously...I was so close to wanting to try the dog food menu items because it sounded amazing! But a dog park and a bar? A concept that definitely needs to happen more! Dogs are SO cute and service inside the bar are great as well! I ended up ordering the chicken tenders/fries with the spicy mayo sauce -- which may sound boring, but these were some of the freshest and best tenders I've had in a while! Everything came out pretty promptly and very fresh! The chicken was so hot that I burned my fingers just trying to eat them! The fries were also really good too -- and this is coming from a fry fanatic! My friend ordered a burger, and these were some of the fanciest burgers I've ever seen! Very fresh ingredients and would recommend as well. Someone else also ordered the Loaded Chips, which was a very generous portion and looked and tasted amazing as well. This is definitely a place to come visit in KC! Dog, food, service are all amazing and is such a fun place to take a break from work/school/life! :)

BarK is my favorite place to go in Kansas City. It has the bestbof both worlds. A relaxing day or night out drinking and eating, as well as being able to spend time with your furry child! The people that work at BarK are genuine dog lovers and make sure both people and pets are safe.

They have it divided into small and large dog with lots of open space and even a water pump when the weather is warm. They always have plenty of parking and there's portable toilets throughout the park. I also enjoy the trail that runs along the river. It's paved, pretty flat, and maybe 3 ish miles so it's great for everyone. They have a few other trails that are less paved and go through more of the wooded area if you want a little more ruggedness. They also have playgrounds and shelters. This park is spacious, but tucked back into a residential neighborhood…read more Pros: - Two playgrounds (with wood chips) - Multiple tennis courts - Two baseball diamonds - Paved walking path between the playgrounds - Restrooms available - Fenced-in dog park - Covered picnic table area - Nature trail Cons: - As always, I wish people would clean up their trash - The restrooms are often locked - The park is a little run down - There is a lot of "through traffic" that makes it feel a little less safe Overall, this is a nice park. The playground equipment is nice enough, but definitely old. I can't speak to the nature trail, because I didn't walk it. I'll probably return to this park when my toddler is a bit older.

The park itself was great and spacious (except for the mud but that's okay since it's winter time…read morewith snow melting) but there was no sense of ownership with dogs owners. When two dogs meet for the first time, you need to make sure you are by the dogs LEASHED until you know they are okay with each other.... We are visiting family in the area and brought our dog to enjoy the park and I'm all for dogs interacting and playing together. But when someone else's dog starts "playing" with yours and it's doing guttural barking sounds, that's not playing that's too much. The other dog would not back down and the owner was across the park just watching. I was holding my dog and the other dog kept biting his legs and my dog would cry out. I tried picking him up, but golden retrievers are a little big and heavy, so I could only hold his two arms as he was trying to get away from the other dog. The other dog missed my dogs arm and got me instead. This is NOT "playing". At all... only will go back to the park when there are not any other dogs there.
