My family read about this place in the Bar Harbor magazine and we decided it sounded really unique. The flavors they have are caramel, maple, blueberry, and sweet & salty. We sampled most before settling on a bag of blueberry and a bag of sweet & salty. The blueberry was amazing!! Very fresh and made with real Maine blueberries. Also the popcorn pieces are big and there was hardly any annoying kernels. We recommend sneaking this popcorn into the movie theatre, lol. We are definitely going back! read more

Sweet mother of mercy, where has this been all my life? I have to say, I'm not usually a fan of flavored popcorns, but one nibble of the wild blueberry flavor and I was positively hooked. I liked it so much that when a Japanese co-worker visited Maine before he flew back to Tokyo, I sent him to this store to pick up up a fresh supply. He got a tub for himself and just recently told me he had a dream he was buying more...so now I need to see if Bar Harbor Popcorn ships international. A requirement for anyone spending time at Bar Harbor. Serves amazing popcorn. Perfect for a sunny day. Wonderfully friendly staff, whom we spent nearly an hour chatting with on a quiet rainy day as we sampled all varieties of popcorn. I highly recommend the Maple flavor. Caramel is also always a hit. YUM! The popcorn is amazing! I got the salty sweet because I love kettle corn, but all of the flavors are good. It is inexpensive and you can mix flavors in one bag if you would like to. I would recommend buying your popcorn here if you are going to the movies and just bringing it in. The man who runs the store is very nice and helpful, and gives you a free sample before you buy a bag. I will definitely be returning!! read more

Terrific fresh popcorn. The owner was very friendly and let us taste all the flavors. We finally mixed the maple and Caramel corn. The next day it was still great and was finished off in no time. Wish we had got a bigger tub. Watch for the round red sign outside. read more

We cannot say enough good things about the popcorn at the BH Popcorn shop. It is run by a couple and their daughter and they make certain the quality of the popcorn is as high as can be. They use very high quality products to coat the popcorn with blueberries, maple, caramel (our favorite) and several other varieties. All the popcorn is popped and coated there. They are continually made throughout the day so the popcorn is always fresh. The product is very reasonable, and you can get a discount if you want to refill one of their tubs. read more
