Then when we asked for help (3 times) they "shooshed" us outside and said someone would be there to take our order. Finally, we ended up purchasing a sandwich and espresso inside only to be told by an elderly woman we would be charged 2 Euro to sit down. We said fine and she then asked us to leave because sitting outside was not possible at this point. How rude and frustrating! Simply ridiculous! Needless to say we ended up at McDonalds and were much happier! They had clean bathrooms and treated us so much better. Avoid Bar Duomo at all costs! It's not worth the hassle and lack of service. I can't believe I'm even suggesting this but, McDonalds is a much better choice when in need if a little refreshment and a bathroom break after touring Pisa.

It's beautiful to sit outdoors and order something small. Just be sure you order something at this cafe because otherwise - they won't let you sit at their chairs. We ordered: (1) Panini sandwich with tomato mozzarella & ham - basic sandwich, but something to fill your tummy if you're feeling a bit hungry. price was reasonable. (2) Iced expresso - super sweet! too much sugar! =P Food: 3 stars View: 4 stars
