I admit, my last visit to Bar 163 has been a while but it is a good memory. I was there on several occasions, birthday parties, for a late hot chocolate or wine or the occasional dinner with friends.
Bar 163 has a very welcoming environment. You can sit either up front or in the back or of course as a large group upstairs. Upstairs is nicest I suppose but maybe I was biased by the great company I had. :-)
Dinner can be fish or meat or of course vegetarian. All is delicious but does not come cheap. You can get a main from around 8 or 9 pounds, a dessert from around 4 pounds. Portions are good, not too much, not too little but seem to be always fresh.
Bar 163 also has a number of really great wines, just go and if you are not sure give them a shout and they'll help choose the right one for you.
Finally, I can only recommend you to go there and try it yourself. Personally, I can recommend the chargrilled chicken kebab as main and the apple crumble. It is delicious! read more
