Ongoing Billing Dispute…read more Sent to Dr. Mylissa Graber (owner of Dr G's Urgent Care) via mail Personal & Confidential on 7/29/25 and never received a response. On 3/30/25, I visited your Delray Beach Office (see attached notes). Upon arriving, the receptionist insisted that I owed a co-pay of $30.00. I explained to her that Medicare pays 80% and BCBS pays the remaining 20% of the Plan Allowance amount. Another office worker by the name of Seth came over and said that I needed to pay the co-pay implying that I could not get service unless I paid the co-pay. I asked him if Dr. G's could bill me if by some chance there was a copay. He said no. So, I agreed to pay (see attached credit card receipt for $30.00) under duress due to the fact that I was sick and needed attention. I also subsequently returned to Dr. G's six more times for follow-up treatments. I was never asked to pay any co-pay after explaining that my insurance covered everything. On 7/7/25, I called billing and spoke to Penny. I explained to her what had happened. She said that I had a $30.00 credit on my account. I asked her to please refund the $30.00 by issuing a credit to my credit card. She said that she had no authority to do so and that I had signed a "no refund" form. She said that on my next visit to DR. G's I could apply the credit to that visit. I explained that I will never owe anything to Dr. G's since my insurance coverage pays everything. I asked her for her manager's name and she said that she couldn't give that information out. I asked her where the billing department was located and she said that she couldn't tell me that. She gave me the email address of admin@drgsurgentcare.com to address the issue of having a credit of $30.00 posted back to my credit card. I have not gotten any response. As you can see from the attached EOB from BCBS, there was no co-pay required for my visit on 3/30/25. Medicare paid $132.63 and BCBS paid the remaining $33.84 with no copay or deductible owing $0.00 to the provider. Please issue a refund of $30.00 by crediting my credit card account. I can be reached on XXX-XXX-XXXX, if additional info is needed. Please inform me of your decision. Sincerely, Michael A. 12/29/25 Spoke to Penny again at the billing department and got the same run around. This is certainly double dipping and most likely illegal. I once wrote a negative review about this physician. Over the course of several weeks her office…read morereached out to me to resolve the issue. And I resolved my specific medical non performance issue with her, to her credit. I withdrew the prior negative customer review I wrote since I told her I would do so. Concurrent to my discussions with this business owner about my negative customer experiences, I filed a complaint and right of refund with my bank since I paid for the medical service(s) in question with my VISA debit card. I lost that appeal or right of refund since I alleged the physician, on the original medical exam date in question, never performed the medical services offered to any degree of accepted medical standards or professional competencies. My bank did not want to intervene on my behalf - I been with them for over 24 years. My advise to YELP readers, please be VERY AWARE that this physician is like no other. They (she) are a money generating enterprise. They will do anything or say anything to extract cash $$$ from you. I promised this physician, as part of my settlement with her, not to visit her business(es) again. It may be prudent if you do the same. This YELP posting is merely a caution warning. I feel I have the right to post the facts and circumstances that transpired around my transaction with this entity.

I stumbled upon this review because I need to provide Dr. Cohen's email to my insurance company…read morebecause I'm recommending her to be added in network after my insurance made wide sweeping changes. I literally chose my insurance plan based upon her being in-network. I think she's a phenomenal doctor. I remember one of my first visits she questioned why I was on a particular medication. She has tremendous recall and was able to make practical suggestions on the combo of medications that other doctors missed. I disagree with the other posters except the one who stated she's difficult to reach for comments on blood work and to visit in hospital because I haven't experienced those needs. However, I can say she pays attention to me, considers what I'm saying, and remembers me and even personal details of prior conversations. I'm a big fan:)

I went for an annual physical and I can honestly say this was the worst experience I've ever had…read morewith an internist. I was a new patient here and had seen the same internist for 25 years, who has received numerous accolades on many levels. No EKG was administered, she refused to look in my throat because she claimed there were Covid issues. I am fully vaccinated and had seen a dentist 6 times in the last 4 weeks. She did not feel my neck or check the glands in my neck, either. The rest of the physical exam was very perfunctory. I was wearing street clothing and was not even offered a gown. The office was cluttered and grimy. She never asked if I had any health issues in the last year or was there anything I wanted to discuss about my health. Her demeanor was so insensitive and completely unprofessional. Prior to my "exam", she spoke to me about the two medications and the vitamins I was taking. I have been on sleep aids for 21 years and she outright called me an "addict" on several occasions and that I needed to see a psychiatrist to get off these meds because she "isn't a drug counselor ". She also told me I was taking too much calcium although I take the amount the label on the bottle suggests, and my regular internist has always approved. I was contacted 10 days later by an office worker about the outcome of my bloodwork and was told "everything was ok". I expected the doctor or a physician's assistant to call to discuss my bloodwork. I asked various questions about my bloodwork such as my cholesterol level, what was my good cholesterol level and what was my bad cholesterol level, and the office worker seemed confused. I wanted to ask additional questions relating to my potassium and magnesium levels but I realized I was dealing with a receptionist. All things considered, stay away from this doctor. She was rude, unprofessional and did not perform an annual physical the way one should. And her demeanor were beyond unacceptable.

I've been seeing Alexandra Jones, DNP for quite a few years now after previously seeing Dr. Santini…read morebefore her retirement. The transition was seamless, and I'm so grateful to have found such an excellent primary care provider. Although Alexandra Jones is not an MD, she is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and I honestly wouldn't want anyone else as my primary care provider. I see specialists for basically everything, so having a primary who is compassionate, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and truly attentive is what matters most to me. She never makes appointments feel rushed, takes the time to really listen, and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. It's also very easy to get an appointment when needed, which I really appreciate.

Dr's are very nice here. I have been coming here many years. However the reason for my 3 star…read morereview today is due to the phone answering service personnel. "Chris" is very unprofessional, condescending and flat out rude. Why be in customer service if you have no customer service skills? This person needs more training in being helpful to patients, especially when they have been coming here a long time, though everyone deserves courteous communications in general. This person needs re-trained, or I will transfer to the Aventura location if I have to continue to call back to get anyone other than chris for booking my appointments.
