I went to ER yesterday in massive pain and dealing with emergent symptoms. They did bloodwork and a UA. The first doctor I spoke to was very nice and she said she ordered fluids and a specific med that I unfortunately don't respond to but I gave it a try....didn't do a thing for me. I'm then taken for an ultrasound and the tech was also very polite. From then on I only saw my nurses who were both very sweet but didn't see the doctor again. My labs and ultrasound came back "normal". No, they didn't I've seen the results. I never received fluids. Then I got kicked out of my room and got relegated to the loud busy hallway because apparently my room was needed for someone else. Then after two more hours this male doctor comes up to me asking me "what's going on?" So I relayed AGAIN what's going on in front of everyone in the hallway and that my pain hasn't improved. So he then says "your labs and ultrasound came back normal so we don't know what's causing these issues we're gonna discharge you with a referral" and then walks away. I'm sitting there still experiencing the SAME symptoms and pain I walked into the ER with and I felt completely unheard and dismissed. Women's reproductive health is not given the attention it should be given. Our pain and suffering is minimized and discounted. My faith in Prisma as a whole and compassionate doctors is becoming a thing of the past. Sad. They tell you if the issue persists to go back...to what be ignored and dismissed?! No thanks. Could not have asked for more attentive nurses. The doctors were compassionate and helpful. Even the cafeteria was clean and food was good. Every encounter from custodial to case management was a pleasant experience (other than the occasional uncomfortable medical procedure, of course). I think this hospital has gotten a bad rap. And I'm not always easy to please. read more

I'd give -5 stars if I could! My daughter went in to the ER with kidney stone symptoms. 6 hours later she was called back for blood work and a CAT scan. 2 hrs later the nurse came out and told her she was released. My daughter had to ask if she had a kidney stone. The nurse said "oh yeah, you got one". Then she gest the bill. Over $6,000!!!!! Freakin' ridiculous. Left my daughter owing over $1,400!!! They are ripping off the insurance companies AND the patients! It's like a lot of people are saying around Easley, "I'd rather die going to St Francis than go to Easley Baptist!" Nobody in our family will EVER set foot back in that place!! read more

If you enjoy long wait times for the simplest of tasks and unashamedly lazy, rude, and unhelpful receptionists make sure to visit Baptist Easley. Waited over 45 min to drop off a sample on a day that wasn't close to being busy. An elderly lady on oxygen had to ask 3 times for the receptionist to get up and get her a wheelchair. read more

I went into the emergency room and as soon as I got in there I felt insulted. I only stayed for 30 minutes if that then left. The people there were extremely unprofessional. When I told them I had chest pain the woman at the desk called someone on the phone and told them and then laughed which I found extremely rude. Then another woman brought a chair to push me to the back I told her i'd rather walk and that I was ok to walk, she told me to just get in the chair. When I got to the back there were guys in the hallway working on wires in the ceiling, they placed me on a stretcher in the hall then began to place ekg stickies on me and it was really uncomfortable with 2 guys right in front of me. The woman did not offer to cover me or anything. She did the ekg then the registrar comes over and says whats your social. I looked at her laughed and asked what is it for since she did not explain who she was or what she was doing. To make a long story short from beginning to end it was by far the worse experience I have had in a healthcare facility of any kind.
