On the evening of the 5th day of not hearing from the PA, a message was sent through MyChart. Two more days pass without hearing from the office. I called the office to speak with the admin, Jerry, but he was "on a conference call and needed to leave in 30 minutes and would call me the next day". I advised that I am NOT on my grandmother's HIPAA and that they would need to contact my grandmother directly. Again...here we are on day 8 with no response from the office! This is absolutely unacceptable and negligent! As a 30+ year employee in the medical field, I am completely disgusted with the lack of care from this practice!

I went to ER yesterday in massive pain and dealing with emergent symptoms. They did bloodwork and a…read moreUA. The first doctor I spoke to was very nice and she said she ordered fluids and a specific med that I unfortunately don't respond to but I gave it a try....didn't do a thing for me. I'm then taken for an ultrasound and the tech was also very polite. From then on I only saw my nurses who were both very sweet but didn't see the doctor again. My labs and ultrasound came back "normal". No, they didn't I've seen the results. I never received fluids. Then I got kicked out of my room and got relegated to the loud busy hallway because apparently my room was needed for someone else. Then after two more hours this male doctor comes up to me asking me "what's going on?" So I relayed AGAIN what's going on in front of everyone in the hallway and that my pain hasn't improved. So he then says "your labs and ultrasound came back normal so we don't know what's causing these issues we're gonna discharge you with a referral" and then walks away. I'm sitting there still experiencing the SAME symptoms and pain I walked into the ER with and I felt completely unheard and dismissed. Women's reproductive health is not given the attention it should be given. Our pain and suffering is minimized and discounted. My faith in Prisma as a whole and compassionate doctors is becoming a thing of the past. Sad. They tell you if the issue persists to go back...to what be ignored and dismissed?! No thanks.
