Of the food, the samosas were disappointingly soft, and the spring rolls were just not very good. All the bad things aside, we all really enjoyed the food. The nems were great, the duck was delicious, the chicken was tender, and the selection was a higher standard than we have had elsewhere at buffets in France. Our son was especially excited about the all-he-could-drink slush puppies, and our daughter supped a virgin piña colada!

The food is unfailingly delicious, as befits a restaurant in a region known for its love of food, and it has a special touch that distinguishes it from any other Vietnamese restaurant I've enjoyed, even the superlative Mekong in Richmond, VA. The Tom Yum soup is some of the most savoury I've ever tasted, and their steamed ("vapuer") dumplings are just the right kind of slightly-sticky delicious that they should be (think dim sum).
