I've traveled for both business and leisure all over the world throughout my life and have had some of the best massages. In all honesty, I thought the appt was at 1 so we were 15 min late for a 90 minute massage which was totally my fault. A coworker suggested Melissa for massage at Banyan Massage Hale. He used her professional massage therapy for several years and said she could help me with my chronic body aches and pains. I registered, then scheduled online. Their website has been improved and tho it took me a while to figure out choosing the therapist I specifically wanted (you can schedule without choosing a specific therapist, up to you) and services I needed, I got my scheduling done. Payment was easy and you have a window in case you need to cancel or reschedule. I would not even attempt to call. Every service can be done on their website. Melissa was very professional and a great listener. She also has a welcoming personality that puts you at ease. Remember, before your session starts, you need to communicate as clearly as possible what therapy treatment you need. Melissa gives ample time for that. Your session is done discreetly. Melissa uses essential oils and it is a private session with only one room. Warm lighting and soft music. Very relaxing. Melissa is "GREAT!" She knows her art and always tries to keep you at your comfort level at the same time ease and relax your body in the areas you have communicated as a concern for you. I have been back to her several times. There is a package of massage therapy that you can purchase and share also with your family. Ask her about it. Melissa also suggested a new massage therapy "Ashiatsu"that another therapist would be offering. Let me tell you I just tried it and I will be writing a separate review for that! read more

One word...Amazing! After couple days of shoulder pain I dicided to finally got get a massage and I wasn't disappointed at all. During my honeymoon, I had a 1hr couples massage with Melissa and Jerica, and it was amazing!! Highly recommend. I can attest to Melissa's skills. I've had a couple of massages in the past and this was the most relaxing one so far. She had some unique techniques that I loved with the perfect amount of pressure. I wish I could list the names of the different positions I enjoyed, but there were many. Essential oils smelled amazing. They also use hot towels to do a couple of maneuvers with the neck.
