Me and my family are very happy with the shades and shutters Jason suggested and installed. The pricing is great and even discounted without any compromises on the quality. I would definitely recommend Bowman Blinds and Shades to anyone who wants to uplift and transform the look of their house

I was not made aware of their visit until a month later, when I received the report and saw the pictures. I also have dogs, and I have no idea how they handled that situation while they were on my property. There was absolutely no justification for entering my backyard without contacting me first. If they had reached out to schedule a visit, I would have willingly allowed access for the photos. Instead, they chose to disregard my privacy and trespass on my property. And the worst thing is, they didn't even put the wood back securing my gate

We are in the process of purchasing our first home and worked with Kyle for our inspection. He met…read morewith us beforehand and took us through what to expect - and how Colorado regulates (or truthfully doesn't really regulate) home inspectors and inspections and how his work is really to protect us, the homebuyer. He's done a bunch of extra training in order to provide the best service, and talks through the biggest threats to a home for both you and your lender. At our inspection he was on time and walked us through the process and would give us updates about where he was at in the inspection. When red flags would come up, he would demonstrate what he was seeing. He uses high resolution wifi cameras to view hard-to-reach places, infrared to test for hot/cold spots that could be water damage or improperly sealed wires. Plus voltage probes for outlets. The report he sent over was comprehensive, and included some basic maintenance thoughts for us to consider to keep the value of our home high. Because of his extensive training, he's probably not the cheapest inspector you'll come by - but it was worth every penny to have someone so thorough working for us. He said several times that we are his clients and his number one priority is making sure that we are making a sound investment in a safe home. Thanks Kyle!

Overall it seemed like he did a good job with the inspection, but his customer service was horrible. I was out of town when he came through, but had someone check on the place the evening he came over. Good thing I did because lights were left on all over the house. Also, I had turned off the water and drained it because it was winter and again I was out of town and didn't want any random pipe issues to occur while I was away. He left the water on and didn't drain the pipes after testing everything. To me, just leave the property in the same condition it was when entered. It's not hard to turn off the lights or shut the water off. The thing that bothered me the most however was he had to come over 48 hours later to retrieve his radon kit. We hadn't heard what time he was coming over so my relator contacted him to ask him to give us a timeframe of when he was planning to return. He never gave us a time, but instead just waltzed into my home unannounced to retrieve his radon detector. To me it is inexcusable behavior to enter someone's home without their approval. Like I said, the inspection seemed well done, but if you are looking for someone who exhibits honesty, integrity and professionalism, Scott isn't it.

The whole process of engaging their services, scheduling the inspection, receiving the reports, and paying were completely automated and easy to do. Jon, the owner and inspector, was incredibly thorough, precise, and professional with his service. He did a very thorough walkthrough after completing his inspection and explained to me everything I needed to do to address the issues he found. He did not miss a thing, he found things I would have never noticed and his understanding of building codes and how the builders most comply was extensive. The final inspection report was very detailed and automated in a way that I could generate specific worklists for the build/seller to address. This is something I haven't seen with other inspectors where they just give you a static report. As long as I am in Inspections by Referral's service area I will continue to use them and will give them the highest recommendation for anyone that needs a home inspection.

Electing the drainage inspection for our peace of mind was also a great idea. They provided a video of their work and helped identify the components used to construct the drainage line to the main sewer line for future reference. Their inspection report will be used as our guide to work off their recommendations to keep our new home safe and sound I would highly recommend using Inspections by Referral to any of my friends requiring future home inspections! Thank you again Jon and Evan!
