If I can give "0" stars I would. This school is so chaotic it's insane. The administration has…read moreabsolutely no class the lack of communication is incredible. The answer to any question or concern is basically " we are a private charter school we can do whatever we want" not joking. nothing was told to us about not being able to provide an after school program 2 days before the start of the year !!!!!! Totally unprofessional/unacceptable. Basically the short version. My wife was told 2 days before there will be no after school for pre-k she basically stated she hasn't been happy with the way administration has been handling things ex. Principal and vice principal going on vacation at the same time 14 days before the school year starts. Principal called my wife and stated "if you don't like the way administration handles the school then maybe your child won't be happy here". This place is a joke

This school is a piece of work starting from administration sleeping with parents to bullying being…read moreover looked and your children being ignored due to favoritism . Additionally the children complain about the bread always being stale and the lunch only being good on Friday "pizza day". The pick up line is a nightmare even if you arrive 30 minutes prior to pick up and are the first person in line officers will make you move essentially making you the last in line because they cannot have cars blocking traffic being a two lane street . Additionally the school does not allocate funding properly for the best interest of your Childrens education if your child is spectrum or has any kind of learning disability this school will straight up fail them rather than using the additional resources "charter schools" have to help your child catch up . Lastly the school is in a very bad neighborhood with a food stop just one building down which has drunk men sitting on the corner publicly drinking beer and smoking out of pipes .

I was in brought to and from school by a private transportation service. I was always the first to get picked up, and the first to get dropped off. Every morning for those years, I was the kid made fun of all the time, or looked at as weird, called names exe. Traumatic tbh.. Over the years, especially the last year I was there. I grew a special love for this place, Beth, Piaza, Havrilla, Gentles, Sol, Sinclair (tho she was there for a short time, she sparked my love for writing and reading and photography. She looked like the small scientist woman in all black from the Incredibles, hair and all, glasses and all.) Rodriguez, Brauntuch (i forgot how to spell her last name, I feel terrible). Throughout my twenties, I visited often, give thanks, appreciation and gratitude. This school saved my life. life is still incredible difficult as an high functioning AuDHD person, i dont understand still a lot of things In social norms or cues. This school taught me to embrace myself, keep pushing, love myself, and so much more. This isnt just a school.. 30 years old now, I still think of the staff and that school. Hope my classmates are navigating well through life.

KLA Schools of Coral Gables is a truly exceptional preschool. From the moment you walk in, you can…read morefeel the warmth, care, and dedication of the teachers, assistants, and administrators. They are nurturing, vigilant, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every child. Many teachers have been at KLA for years, and because they clearly enjoy being part of this community, they are able to build lasting bonds with children--even when they are no longer in the same classroom. This creates a uniquely special atmosphere for families. The approach to learning is thoughtful and intentional at every stage of development. Children are supported in reaching their milestones through meaningful experiences, social-emotional practices, and engaging class activities. The curriculum is comprehensive and balanced--covering academics (numbers, shapes, language), art (with a dedicated atelierista), physical education, and an impressive range of enrichment programs like dance, Spanish, soccer, and martial arts. KLA is also a wonderfully inclusive community, bringing together families from all around the world. It is not unusual to hear four or five languages spoken within a single class, always in a spirit of benevolence and respect, where everyone feels welcome. Another thing that stands out is the attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement. Everything feels carefully considered, and it is clear the leadership values feedback, making thoughtful changes while also supporting teachers in their own professional growth. If you are looking for a place that fosters independence from a young age and prepares children to transition smoothly and confidently into school, there is no better choice than KLA Schools of Coral Gables.
