We had a terrible experience with this company. They over promise and under delivering. He promised to make it up to us on the next delivery. Now, he can't do it. I appreciate people and companies that actually do what they say they are going to do. Saying or promising one thing and then doing something completely different is a deal breaker for me. I used this delivery service two weeks ago and he charged me one price less than two weeks later I had the same thing delivered and he charged more money, I reminded him he was only here two weeks ago. I asked why he told me distanced and time. Need to be consistent with price. Will not use this service again. read more

I've used them several times to deliver large items from Costco. Reliable and reasonable.

After buying a rather large and heavy complete dining set from Costco, we called this delivery company since their sticker was advertised on the item we bought. We spoke to Steve, who picked up right away and said he could deliver that same day (Saturday). We told him the situation, what we bought, and he told us what to do from there, how much the delivery fee would be, and where he and his team would come in and take over for the delivery. He was kind on the phone, gave us a time frame for when he would drop off the furniture to our home. When it was getting close to the expected delivery time, I got a text/call from the crew that they were almost at the home, and the delivery time was on the earlier side of the time frame, which was great! The guys came, dropped off the items, and nothing was damaged. They were nice, and accepted personal check as I didn't have cash on me at the time. I have no complaints. The delivery went off perfectly. Not sure about the other negative reviews on here, but even if I was hesitant going with these guys initially, I'm SO glad they pulled through and we had a great experience with them. Banshee Express delivers quality service. I just purchased a hall chest from Costco that was inches too big to fit in the trunk of my Honda. I was suspicious when a Costco employee handed me a business card and suggested I call Banshee Express, but I reluctantly tasked them to do the job. Steve, the small companies' friendly owner/operator, was happy to deliver my chest from the store to my home within two hours at a price equal to or better than his competitors. When he arrived at my house, he greeted me with a smile and thanked me a couple times for my business. Unfortunately, I noticed a few defects in my new purchase just after Steve left. I wish there would be a NO STAR option. Delivery was set for Tuesday between 2 and 3 pm but no-one showed up...or called. I called John Durrett few hours later to inquire about my delivery but you an answering machine and... no call back. My wife called the next day, wednesday, but the answering machine was full. Like in the medieval times. We called again on Thursday because they had not felt the need to update us yet and finally got a call back on thursday night to hear he was"too busy". We finally got a delivery on friday morning. John did not feel the need to apologize at any point and then came the best part... My wife had agreed on $75 delivery fee but he then quoted me $90 "because $75 was for downstairs delivery but since we went up the stairs, it's a liability." Wow! Unreliable, unapologetic and a hustler. Stay away from these people. read more

Super happy with the service provided by Banshee Express!! Twice now! The first time was months ago delivering heavy items from Costco. Today Steve and Kevin helped me big time to move furniture to a new place. They couldn't have been more helpful, pleasant or kind. Great guys! They took care of business helping me out, even offering to move extra items I wasn't sure they could move for me. So glad Costco lists their number on the displays. Very happy with this company. There are not a lot of options for companies that will pick up just one or 2 large items from a store, deliver them, and carry them up stairs. I used Banshee to pick up a large crib and a fully assembled dresser and carry them up my stairs. Steve, the owner, answered my call right away and was able to fit me in within 2 days. He was very friendly, professional, and flexible with my schedule. His price was amazing, as well. I highly recommend!! read more

We scheduled a delivery with these guys. They quoted us $165 to deliver, unbox and assemble a sectional sofa for us from Costco. We had cancelled that delivery last month but redecided to purchase the sectional and rescheduled a delivery for the same price expecting the same deliverables. He called and insisted he could only deliver the boxes for $165 the morning of the delivery saying he was too busy to do the rest of what we were expecting. I took delivery figuring it was a mixup between the owner and the delivery guys. We tried to settle this for less money the following evening but he would only give us $20 back saying he wouldn't have quoted that price for delivery and setup. Buyer beware!! Make sure you get a wriiten quote from him before he picks up your stuff because he'll change the rules of the delivery the morning of the delivery. Costco will hear about this. read more

These guys helped me get a couple patio furniture sets home from Costco. They were easy to get a hold of, gave me an immediate quote, scheduled me for the next day, delivered when they said they would, and carried everything around back where I needed to assemble it. Now looking at where this company is based, I can see why he was "too busy" to pick up my furniture from Costco in Folsom and delivery to my home one mile from Costco. Not only did he fail to call me back about delivery the following day after being too busy to get to my area, he wants to charge me $79 when I am barely one mile from the Costco he would pick up my furniture! He also did not even remember what he quoted me which tells me he changes his prices on a whim. I would never recommend purchasing something from Costco if you cannot arrange to get it home yourself! Used Banshee to deliver some storage racks which were much too big and heavy to fit in my car. Purchased at 10:00AM followed by a quick call to Banshee who picked them up and delivered to my home in about 90 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the service or turn around time. read more
