The "banker" made an appt. with me, and then proceeded to tell me that it would take 2 hours but he didn't have time right then. He didn't listen to me telling him I already had an account and all my information Chase already has, but nope, he didn't have time. All my accounts are with Chase. After he didn't have time for me, he took my name and number said he would call me. 5 hours later, I'm still waiting for the call. After 5 minutes of him telling me that he didn't have time, i walked out. Called my Chase bank in Monroe WA and in 20 minutes, my business checking account was completed and re-opened. If you listen to the customer, it goes a long way. Major SAVE to the Monroe branch.

The teller has doing her job well, but the line wasn't moving. I was third in line and I caught the eye of the manager on duty, Bobby. He noticed I had a question and immediately came out from behind the counter to ask if he could assist me. I said I had three checks to deposit and asked if an ATM could accept mg checks without my having to fill out a deposit slip. He said yes, but repeated that it wouldn't be available for until the next business day. "So it's the one outside, to deposit checks?" I inquired. "Yes, but it won't be available until the next business day," Bobby repeated. "That's fine because I have $xx,xxx in the bank so that isn't going to be an issue." So, five stars for the manager coming out from around the corner to ask how he could help. This is the practice at the Bellevue Private Client location as well. Bobby looked at my home made mask, unwashed hair and jeans and assumed I was insolvent. I don't take that personally, it makes me smile.

They're a regular retail bank, from what I…read morecan see, rather than technically being structured as a member-owned CU, but that's just a guess on my part. and it doesn't keep them from presenting themselves as being as competitive and as local as a CU, in my opinion. I've had my last two mortgages here. They've always been super friendly and helpful throughout the process, from finding me rates, processing paperwork, and all that. I review this branch because I've come in here to deal with the deposit account that handles the payments each month. The staff and management are super nice, always ready with a greeting. They make sure you're aware of their different loan programs and whatnot without being obtrusive. They communicate with you over email in some cases, which is nice. Your 1SB account dovetails with other accounts you hold, though I don't think you can transfer money between them--but you can see balances from other accounts when you log in to your 1SB account, which sets you up well for managing budgets. There's only so much you can say about banks and financial institutions, but I'd ted to point these guys out as a solid counterpart to the nice stuff that CUs do.

I've always had to wait for service, except for one time when they scheduled an appointment for me directly at the branch. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they've always assisted me. Some documents I needed were difficult to obtain, but they helped me meet my deadlines. Overall, I'm happy with the experience, but I'm deducting a star for the long wait times.

This without a doubt was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a local branch. All I wanted to do was withdraw money out of my own account, I had 3 people in front of me and 2 behind and they have one teller working while 5 other people sitting at their desk with no one in front of them. And all they could keep saying is sorry about the wait instead of actually getting up and servicing their customers behind the window. When I finally did get my turn at the window 20 minutes later they had to get a manager involved to complete my request and now I've been given the third degree on everything to do with my account after already presenting my ID and my debit card they now need to know who else is on my account? ( I'm the primary) what was the last transaction made into my account where did it come from and for how much we are now 15 minutes into this transaction. I asked the manager in front of me is this normal practice for Wells Fargo as a whole or is this something that they do just at this branch because I did this exact same transaction at another Branch 6 months ago and they didn't pry into every aspect of my account and my life before giving me the money. I'm not sure if it was racism or classism that was involved here but it was definitely something and I don't know what else to do but leave a bad review. Whoever the manager is there she is not good at her job she is not good at customer service she is not a polite person even though she tries to act like she is. Do yourself a favor go to any other Branch but the one in Mill Creek because overall Wells Fargo is a good bank but this without a doubt is a terrible branch.

I…read moreapplied for a transferred mortgage last year about this time, and they took about 2 months to get back to me, with a very small reduction in my current rate. I called Whatcom Educators CU, and the manager got back to me in about 10 minutes. Now I have a much better mortgage rate with WECU. I pay my WSECU credit card early and always for over 4 years. They would not increase my limit (from $5000 to $6000) without a hard pull on my credit. This year, I had a fraudulent charge on this WSECU credit card. That in itself is a concern. I did not get any notice about it. I asked them to close my credit account. Apparently, I didn't communicate adequately, as the closed my card, but left the credit account open. I went into a branch to figure out how to get the account closed. They stated that closing a credit account (with zero balance) would be a detriment on my credit report. I closed it any way. Terrible communication and listening skills with minimal verbal contact…read more We applied for a HELOC loan, online and nobody contacted us to prepare us for what we will need to put our best application forward. They just ran our credit before contacting us and made us a counteroffer based solely on the minimal information in their application which never asked for savings or other assets. No one ever contacted us to ask for income information or assets until after they ran our credit. Our credit is 750+, our payment history is spotless, and our savings are greater than our debt. The agent was very dry and impersonal the few times we spoke with her (twice for less than 5 minutes) and we felt like we were just a number the entire time. She offered less than what we wanted, even though they valued our home at a much higher value than we expected, and never acknowledged anything we would communicate to her about our assets or savings. She would just email us for more information and never ask for our assets or personal savings information that would show our savings are larger than our debt, leading me to believe they do not take your assets or savings into account when calculating loans. Thereby never having a full picture of our net worth. Our entire experience felt impersonal and robotic. It almost felt like they never listened and gave us a "take it or leave it" offer without discussing or reviewing all of our assets. I couldn't help but feel they were being biased. If you want to deal with dry, unfriendly people who will make decisions from little information and not acknowledge anything you bring up, then WSECU is the place for you.

They also said that the person doing notary left earlier today. Instead of letting me know beforehand, they started telling me that I should've called to make the appointment instead of making it online. A bank manager should set the standard for customer service, but here they are the reason I'm looking for a new bank. Don't bother making an appointment; they don't respect your time.

I was in shock due to how important it was I had my card these next few days. Before I could say a word they all were smiling and laughing and I was told I had to go online and report my card as damaged in order to get a new one. I didn't say a word. I wasn't offered anything else. I was in such shock due to what predicament their decision to shred a card rather than hold it for a few minutes had put me in, I was at a loss for words. I don't typically ask for sympathy but this ruined ceremonies and plans for that day due to a poor management decision. I understand mistakes but for all the employees to laugh in my face at my pain. All I could do was leave and all I can say is wow.
