The scope of the project grew as we realized that we needed more things done in the house before we could move in, which included: installing several interior and exterior doors, removing and reinstalling a built-in set of drawers, installing and fixing flooring, removing a built-in wet bar in the basement, doing some work in a bathroom so we could put in a new vanity and bathtub, removing a wall between two rooms so one could be turned into a walk-in closet, making a small alcove into a closet, stripping down a door to be refinished, making shelf supports for our long pantry shelves so they don't bow from the weight, and helping fix a basement leak that was due to the prior owner not properly fastening his deck to the foundation. I am sure there some things I am forgetting, but the bottom line is that Patrick and Chris were always up to doing what we needed done. They were on time, professional, friendly and easy to work with. Patrick was great about providing quotes for all of the work, and had very reasonable prices. In addition, when I needed a contractor for something that he couldn't do, he knew someone in the area he could recommend, and those recommendations (of which there were several for: roofing, plumbing and tile work) worked out great. My wife and I appreciate the great work that Patrick and Chris did, and would highly recommend them for any type of construction project - whether it's big or small.

I would definately recommend them and will hire them again.

When I bought my place I knew I would have to remodel my bathrooms at some point. They were…read moredownright hideous! Seriously, who uses counter-top laminate in the shower!?! When it got time for me to get the bathrooms done I had the tough task of finding someone I could trust to do the work; as a single girl in the city I didn't want to get taken advantage of. Luckily, my handyman got me in touch with Tim at LA Remodel. Tim and his partner Mike are great. They came out, we talked about what I needed done and gave me an estimate. The work they did was excellent and completed quickly. Since they knew I was on a budget they consulted any time something unexpected came up that would cost more or let me know if there were ways I could save some money, which is why I decided to paint the bathrooms myself and save some cash. I felt like Tim was psychic, I told him what type of look I was going for and all of the samples he brought for me to choose from were spot on. He even picked the faucets that I would've chosen myself. They were also really neat and clean; you get to one bathroom through my bedroom and you could hardly tell they'd been there they cleaned up so well on a daily basis; my rug was cleaner than it was before they started! Tim even called so he could return my cat's favorite toy, which they accidentally took when finishing the job. I thanked him from avoiding a potential crisis since watching her diligently search for it was pretty sad. You almost forget she easily has about 50 other toys she could play with. Tim and his partner also did some work for my parents. They too were thrilled with the quality of work they did for him. As my mom said, their estimates may not be the lowest, but they're spot on - so no surprises. Bottom line: Tim and his partner Mike do great, quality work. I trust them immensely, plus they're insured and bonded.

The first rep came out and helped us to think of a design as he measured and suggested ideas. The engineer came out and reviewed the area and made even more suggestions. We set the date, chose the materials, the carpenters arrived, the work was beautifully done. My husband LOVES his garage so much that it is beyond his dreams. EVERYTHING is in its place and easily accessible. No more piling rakes, shovels and patio umbrellas all over. We highly recommend MEGA and even called them for our next project which included electrical work and installation of many lighting fixtures and fan. You REALLY get what you pay for. The teams of subcontractors were seamlessly coordinated and, in fact, our speedy project would have been completed even faster if I had not received the wrong color tiles (not at all Dan's fault! And we did appreciate his patience when we had to delay to correct.). I valued his input on several functional and design changes, it was nice to have someone with experience to advise! We wound up asking him to do additional work on a second bathroom and will gladly have him back for future projects. Very polite…read moreand businesslike, and said he could repair the very broken concrete under our front porch instead of fully replacing it; we bought our house as-is several years ago and had been dreading having work done on it, due to cost and time concerns. He moved his whole schedule around to fit us in at the end of the season and gave us what I thought was a very fair price to fix up not only the broken pad, but the stairs, the sides of the house, and some of the walkways. We shook on it and he got to work on it right away. So far, so good! At the end of the second day's work, he offered to finish off more the area to make it look more uniform for an additional fee. We said no, what he had done was fine and we needed lots of other repairs on the house. A few minutes later he said he would do it for free and we could tip if we liked. He worked until the end of the day going above and beyond, and we tipped him an additional few hundred dollars. I was about to write him a five star review immediately... until I went outside that evening and saw that his crew left a GIGANTIC pile of broken concrete not on OUR lawn, but our NEIGHBOR'S without telling us. It's still there now. Our neighbors are angry, as they have every right to be, and we are now having to pay to have the concrete removed. Bottom line, the work was fast and well priced and what we wanted, but the cleanup is going to cost us hundreds more.

They were also incredibly conscientious about making sure the rest of our house stayed cleaned, and made sure drop cloths were put down each day, and even taped off the bathroom completely so no dust would get in to our bedroom and cleaned everything up each and every day of the project. The estimate was detailed and very reasonable. They explained each step of the process to us, and helped with any questions we had.
