Ordered a cold draft Butterbeer, and listen--this stuff hits like pure liquid butterscotch candy. Frosty, sweet, and it comes served in a proper heavy tankard you get to take home like a trophy. ​Since moderation isn't in my vocabulary, I also ordered the Butterbeer ice cream. Absolutely outstanding. 10/10. ​The place literally has 1,000 glowing bottles floating above the bar, copper pipes running through the ceiling, and a massive 220 lb phoenix hanging out inside. There was so much to look at and they had so many fun things throughout the shop. You could easily spend a good amount of time walking around and looking at everything. We also got some sweet treats while we were there. We tried the cake cup, which was yummy, although I expected it to be a little more moist. The Butterbeer was definitely my favorite though! It was so good and such a fun thing to try while visiting the shop. They even have a restroom, which was a nice bonus since we were already spending some time there. Even if you're not planning to buy anything, I think it's worth stopping in just for the experience. It really feels like you're stepping into the Harry Potter world and there are so many fun details to see. Definitely a fun NYC stop!

It's much much cleaner and brighter and spacious. It doesn't bother me but Koneko cats tend to be older and less playful which may be not as fun for some guests. I find it calming to watch sleeping cats or just observing them roam around. Not sure when Koneko started offering drinks for all full hour bookings regardless of time. It used to be limited to their happy hour session which would end up being almost $30. This time, the drinks are included and a limited selection is included. Matcha, lattes, and mochas are $3 extra. I think it's fair. I got the oolong four season and was impressed with it. In general I don't expect a cat café to have good tasting food/drinks because the focus is on cats. I wonder if they cold brew all their teas because I saw the barista prepping batches of other teas. The long steeps can also explain why I think there's slight bitterness from the oolong, but it's very subtle. The oolong was refreshing and had an aftertaste and wouldn't taste diluted even with ice in it. Impressed.
