Long story short, the hair was not done like the picture and was way too tight, when she asked if it could be loosened, she was told that they did not have time because we paid for an hour. So we paid $65 to have her hair done wrong and then partially undone. Thanks for nothing. Customer satisfaction and service did not seem to be a priority.

I would only recommend this salon for a simple haircut, nothing more! I asked Patrick to dye my hair purple... that was a mistake. I had to come back 2x because the color just wouldn't take. So I got my hair bleached twice and for $280 it only lasted 2-3 weeks. Don't get me wrong I payed the money thinking I was getting a permanent hair color not semi-permanent. I asked and Patrick kept saying it was permanent and it wouldn't fade away like a semi permanent.... A month later and my hair is the bleached color... the ugly yellow brownish.... I definitely would never ever recommend this place to get your hair dyed. I even asked if this was his first time doing purple hair and Patrick said no he had done it before.... Hmm.... 1 star definitely

Go see Deborah!!!!…read more I can't put into words how amazing she is! I remember the first time walking into her and I was almost in tears thinking my blonde couldn't be as beautiful as I pictured it because it was darker at the time and not done for a long time after having being pregnant. She looked at me and said "sweetie, we can make you exactly that blonde!" And let me tell you.... It was beyond perfect and better than I ever dreamed!! Since then she has done my hair for years! You will never go to anyone else after sitting in Deborah's chair. And I mean that with all my heart!! I went to multiple other stylists before meeting Deborah and she's someone that just gets hair! She knows the best things for your hair and knows how to make it look like movie-star hair. Trust me!! She's extremely talented and beautiful inside and out.

Falling out of love with those blonde highlights? Look no further than 'Hair by Michelle' to fan…read moreand re-kindle that flame. Ladies, natural hair shouldn't be boring - so don't let it be. Located in the Tuscan Village salon shops Atascocita, the location is convenient, clean and this gem may be tiny but it's big on hospitality and you are always greeted with a smile. The salons in tuscan village are all private and privately owned and operated. As a male, i wanted to venture out from the typical chop shops that are franchise owned and have less than experienced stylists cutting my hair. I ventured out of the comfort zone and crowded waiting rooms of a typical barber shop and hair salon to truly find a better experience. As a male patron, i loved the private shops inside tuscan village. A sneak peek into the life and world of women and how and where they go to reward, spoil and pamper themselves. 'Hair by Michelle' is owned by michelle favors, a former owner of multiple salons who is the answer to those bad hair days. During the summer of 2012, i attended this salon twice and both times i was happy not only with my cut but the attention i received and the amount of time. As a male patron one of my concerns is the amount of time that is spent because there are too many stylists who shouldn't be stylists in the first place not spending enough time on a head and making the person feel comfortable and giving them the time they deserve. The facilities are a former 'Albertson's' grocery store during the 1990's that was remodeled and re-opened as Tuscan Village Shops which (off the top of my head) probably has 30 independent salons and vendors inside the building. The concept, which i thought was cool was upscale compared to the traditional hair studios and cookie cutter franchises that we all grew up with. Now, since i have found this hidden gem of a salon, my task today is go get my haircut by a regular sports clips and weigh today's experience against these two experiences i have had at 'Hair by Michelle'. Appt is necessary as this is not a walk-in type of place. Since i grew up in Atascocita and have more than half of my friend base still centrally located in and around Atascocita, Humble and Kingwood, i would highly recommend 'Hair by Michelle' to any and all of my friends and family who are in and around the area.

The hair stylists are very knowledgeable about current trends as well as best practices. I first tried the salon because my aunt, Nancy Brown, works here. Of course, I especially recommend her because she has left me incapable of trusting anyone else to cut/style my hair! But, the other stylists were friendly and personable as well. 5-star Disclaimer: I am only familiar with the atmosphere/service of hairstylists. They also offer "nail technicians, a skin care business that is booming and a fabulous boutique! "

Lily is the best!…read more I've been coming to Lily for years on an initial recommendation from a family friend. I wanted to try new things with my hair in the ways of coloring, and Lily was immediately agreeable to any idea that I had. When I wanted to try a red color, she slowly introduced my hair to the color that I wanted so it wouldn't be a shock to me or too hard to take care of. Now years later, I'm working my way back to my natural blonde and Lily is great in making sure I'm happy with everything that we do! My hair is always gorgeous when I leave, and I always get so many compliments. Lily also knows great products and shampoos to use and always gives her honest opinion about what she thinks will be best. You're the greatest, Lily!
