First off, getting into the venue is pretty easy with a couple entry points and an efficient screening system. The staff were all very cheerful and helpful. Every single employee I saw smiled and greeted me! We ate before going inside, but the food and drink offerings looked pretty solid. The sound quality was great, especially for an outdoor venue.

Parking was every where but our host is a season pass holder and drove to the VIP parking lot behind the venue. A short walk up a gentle incline and we were at the gates. The pavilion's web site gives clear instructions on what is and is not allowed. They checked my small bag and off we went. Tickets read the doors open at 6:30p but due to some heavy partying one band had not even done their sound check yet. They opens the gates 15 minutes later. We made our way to the way back of the theatre where the VIP section was. Showed our tickets got a bracelet and off to the VIP area where they have two full bars, 3 small fire pits with ample chairs and on the upper level couches and tables as well as bar stools to enjoy your beverage. We got our drinks and off we went to our seats. We were seated behind the orchestra section with the whole box to ourselves. We sat down for maybe 10 minutes and the show started. Ratt was OK but slow, they must have been the ones hung over, they sounds sluggish. Only knew one song they sang so glad they were not the head liner. A break for bathrooms and more beverages with some free popcorn. Then Vince Neil came on. He was good. Danced to a few of his songs from Motley Crew. The lighting and effects were great, really energized the crowd. Another intermission found it my turn for drinks. Two beers, a small box of wine, and a THC drink to the total of $58! WOW! $72 with tip ouch! The headliner was Brett Michaels. He was AMAZING! Energetic, talking to the crowd, and singing clear and strong bravo! Over all a great experience and will return when able

My family and I visited Cross Insurance Center to experience the PBR Velocity Tour and they put on…read morea very good show. It was convenient that I could purchase Lot A parking in advance to ensure I was able to get closer to the building since my wife had surgery recently and had limited mobility for long distances. The staff at the Center are very friendly, helpful and willing to go out of their way to assist. One lady was nice enough to retrieve a wheel chair for my wife and walk us to the section where we were located. It was on the other side of the Center from the entrance. Prices for most food is commensurate with typical arena and stadium prices. Water will run you about $4, but I believe the beers were running close to $40 for 16oz cans. The ambiance of the Center is very dependent on who is entertaining at the time, but PBR does a great job with both music, entertainment and commentary throughout the entire competition. I had no issues while here and leaving took an acceptable amount of time if you knew were to position your vehicle in the various lines that made up the exit line.

Caught a Maine Black Bears game at Alfond Arena, and it was such a fun experience! The energy in…read morethe building is incredible--fans are passionate, loud, and totally into the game from start to finish. You can really feel the school spirit and love for hockey here. The arena itself has that classic college feel--cozy but electric, with great sightlines from just about anywhere. It's not one of those huge, impersonal venues, which makes it even better. You're close to the action and can really feel the intensity on the ice. Concessions were solid (good selection and not outrageously priced), and the staff were friendly and efficient, even with a packed crowd. Parking can be a challenge, but if you don't mind walling a bit it isn't too bad. If you're anywhere near Orono during hockey season, catching a Black Bears game at Alfond is a must. Great hockey, great fans, and a true Maine sports

The ticket sellers were friendly. The seating could not be purchased beforehand and it was pretty packed. One thing: the first movie we went to had a series of 'commercials' which ran for a good 10 minutes at the start time of the movie. This was followed by another 10 minutes or so of coming attractions. It just seemed a little odd that the local commercials (volume MUCH too loud for some) would not be played as folks were waiting for the film to start (ie. before the start time of the film). There was one for a seat belt PSA which showed a mom being greeted by a trooper to say her son was killed; it was a little much for some of the patrons who complained loudly. Interestingly, this PSA, although relevant and a needed reminder, was not played the second day. Popcorn was good, but not hot. Seats were comfy. Overall, it was a nice way to spend a few hours during a downpour. There's a great restaurant, Timber, nearby which we'd highly recommend.

The seats were comfortable. But the film did not start at the advertised time. It did not start at…read moreall! So after ten+ minutes of enjoying the comfortable seats and staring at a blank screen, one of the customers went out into the lobby to get help. After she returned, the sound for the film eventually came on but there were no images and we all sat there in the comfortable seats and waited, but the images never started, so a customer had to go out and ask the manager to fix the projector. After a few more minutes of waiting, the images started to run but the movie was part way along so we had no idea how it started and we couldn't see the images on the screen very well because no one had bothered to turn off the house lights! So, yet again, a paying a customer got up from his comfortable seat and went out to get someone to turn off the house lights! So did the movie rocket staff apologize and restart the movie? No, they just let it run. I think something was also wrong with the projector or film itself because the colors were very dark and it was hard to make out what was going on, not to mention that we were lost because we didn't know how the story began! There was no staff to be found when we were exiting the theater, so I could not have a conversation. There has been no response to my contact with the theater from home. I'd been looking forward to seeing Indiana Jones for months. What a disappointment!

I went out and shut the doors for the theaters right around our and then the doors for Narato so that I can actually listen to the Nosferatu movie not every other movie that had allowed crash bang audio track. Not a lot of options around and the theater is not bad, it's just I was left unimpressed. Also, the popcorn gives me a major stomach ache

They even have an art room where my granddaughters had the opportunity to make something fascinating. They also love the medicine and kitchen sections. They can spend hours here. The museum has three floors. Staff is always accommodating and friendly. There is a good parking garage close by that charges minimal for parking (free for the first two hours and then 1.50 for each hour after that). There are also some restaurants and other snack places close by so you can certainly make a day of it if you wish.

A lot of pretend play areas, three floors but easily done in about 60-90 minutes for our 5 and 7 year olds. Agree with the others who thought this was better for the preschool and early elementary crowd than older kids. Great also at the last hour of the day Saturday when it was mostly empty.
