I was received and serviced by Adam who proceeded to install the spacers as I watched. The job was done well. I learned a little bit about framing and went home with a professionally mounted photograph. In addition to that, I got to chat with Adam as he worked. It turns out that he is also a talented canvas painter. He clearly enjoys what he is doing for a living. It is truly refreshing to interact with a young professional artist who enjoys his work.

This is a seriously unprofessional business. I have been in there several times and every time I…read morefind it mind-boggling how unprofessional employees are there . I have had situations in the past, but today was the worst. You cant find employees if you need help you're on your own, the cashier there was one older woman doing balloons while there were five people waiting in line to use the self check out, I happen to work in retail so I know how to use the kiosks but the elderly woman next to me did not even know how to begin...I had to instruct her through the self check out or she probably would've walked out. I asked the woman that was behind the counter working there who is making balloons if she was going to help or if there were any cashiers and she said there were no cashiers and she was busy forfilling a balloon order! Now many years in retail, plus the fact that I am also a customer I found this atrocious that she was unwilling to come out from behind the counter to help customers . Well i educated her on her unprofessionalism that i should not be doing HER job... i also sought out the " manager" and relayed the situation to him . HES USELESS TOO They ought to fire both of these useless employees and get employees that actually help customers and care and don't look like they are mad at the world . Thus is and art and craft store- people may need advice and help . I wonder how many people walk out because of this?????

It's the kind of wild esoterica shop that you don't see around much, selling everything from coyote skulls to cheeky postcards. I also want to mention that the proprietors told us to be sure to check out Mexicali Blues (a similar shop a block down) and the cashiers at Mexicali Blues told us to be sure to stop by Rock & Art. So clearly they are good neighbors as well!

Things were smooth and Ron felt like he was 2 steps ahead, always providing us with approximate but accurate deadlines. His employees were hard working and respectful, which made me think he was a good employer. There were smokers amongst the crew but I never found 1 stray cigarette butt. Regrading financing he referred us to a financier who was the most helpful financing experience I had ever had. Craftsmanship was top notch. Literally better than I expected.
