What a fabulous venue for our baby shower event!…read more If you're looking for a truly special venue, Blue Moon Barn and Vintage Market is an absolute hidden gem just over the Illinois border and south of Lake Michigan in Westfield, Indiana. Tucked away down a quiet, tree-lined country road setting feels beautifully remote--peaceful, private, and full of charm. So very worth the drive! The barn itself is nothing short of magnificent. With soaring two-story beamed ceilings and thoughtfully curated décor, every corner is filled with unique vintage finds sourced from around the world. The creative lighting alone is stunning and creates an unforgettable atmosphere, whether you're hosting a daytime gathering or an evening event. There is even an Airbnb guest apartment inside the barn! Inside, the over 5000 sq feet of event space is both elegant and functional. The long, 12-foot wooden tables add to the rustic sophistication, and the full-service kitchen makes hosting seamless. There's also plenty of parking, which makes things easy for guests--something I've found is often overlooked but so important. What truly sets this place apart is its heart. The property is situated on an 80-acre animal rescue acreage, and the events hosted there help support that meaningful mission--something as a guest I felt good about being part of. And a special mention goes to Jen, the hostess, who is warm, incredibly accommodating and welcoming. Her attention to detail and genuine care make the entire experience even more memorable. In my opinion, whether you're planning a special event, wedding, or simply visiting, Blue Moon Barn offers a one-of-a-kind experience that blends rustic beauty, thoughtful design, and purpose in the most wonderful way.

I am thrilled to not have to drive downtown Chicago or to Oakbrook for a nice pair of jeans! I got to visit the boutique on it's opening day this past Saturday and found so many cute things. The store was packed, which is exciting as it means there are a lot of people who will be supporting it so we can keep places like this in our town. The owner was so kind and did an amazing job with the space. The prices are mid range, which is nice. It isn't over the top, but it also isn't cheap. I love the selection she has. She even commented on how she only orders a limited run of each item so that you don't see everyone around town in the same thing, so smart! This is an amazing addition to the new Centennial Village space and something this area needed!

I cannot express how much I love Aubrey! Her help with finding my dream dress and at such an…read moreaffordable price is greatly appreciated. She's been so helpful and thorough in such a crazy time (wedding planning + pandemic postponing). She's spot on with communication and never leaves me guessing or wondering. TBH it was hard for me to concede to making such an important purchase online without physically seeing the dress, thinking that it may have not been legit as I've tried it on in others stores locally to me only. But Aubrey really put me at ease. I'm a person who weighs decisions heavily on reviews and for some reason, this particular store doesn't have a ton here on Yelp, maybe it's not as popular as it is in California (where I'm from), but Aubrey is highly reviewed on the Wedding Wire. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aubrey. Her professionalism and demeanor shined through even in emails alone! Go see her or contact her online!

Instead of shipping them out and paying for returns fees I decided to come in instead. The communication with the store owner Aubrey was superb. The shop was so cute and everyone was really helpful. They made sure they had the dresses I was interested in pulled and ready for my appointment. I was able to say "yes to the dress" to the most beautiful Maggie Sottero. Weeks after the sale I had questions/worry about the alterations needed for the dress and Aubrey continued to help me and answer my questions. She reassured me the alternation I need would not change the integrity of the dress as long the person is experienced in bridal dresses. She also does not pressure you to do alterations with her but does offer great deals. When it is alteration time I most likely with come back to her, despite the drive because of the quality of the store. If she sold more than just wedding dresses she would have my continued business. Instead, even though I rarely ever write reviews I feel her shops deserves it. Completely worth the drive.
