Hands down, this is some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time--maybe ever…read more Everything at Scoop is homemade, and you can absolutely taste the difference. The flavors are rich, fresh, and just flat-out delicious. What really sets them apart though is their variety--they offer multiple no sugar added options and several dairy-free choices, which is a huge win. I honestly wish more ice cream shops would follow their lead. The shop itself has a great old-fashioned diner vibe, which makes it even more enjoyable. There's also a nice little outdoor seating area, perfect for hanging out with family. We came in as a family of 7 and tried a little bit of everything--milkshakes, dairy-free (the coconut was incredible), no sugar added options (POG for the win!), plus cones and cups. Everything we had was top-notch. Now, I have to call this out--I'm a HUGE Oreo fan. Like, it's my all-time favorite cookie. And the Oreo Xtreme ice cream here? Easily the best Oreo ice cream I've ever had. It seriously tastes like it was made in an Oreo factory... in the best possible way. Packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, not over-the-top--just perfect. Highly, highly recommend checking this place out. You won't regret it.

Wow, just wow! The level of attention and class of this restaurant is unprecedented…read more I would like to start of with a HUGE shout out to executive chef, Theo Goupil! He is not only managing a phenomenal team but he is so incredibly available to diners! Made us feel like VIPs! Naomi, the hostess, clearly knows what she is doing and made sure every single thing went smoothly! It was my first time at a Michelin star restaurant and the mixologist, Marcel, literally came by to ask about preferences and created a unique cocktail for me! Service could literally not get better!! Aidan and Daniel, just WOW!!! Like wow! If I say wow one more time you'll probably stop reading but that's just how amazing they were! Daniel picked every single dish we ate and we loved every single dish!! The tuna pizza, MY GOD! The otoro (fatty tuna), MY GOD! Like every single thing was amazing!!! Ambiance is dope, exactly what you'd expect at a Michel star restaurant! Absolute 5 star! Jump over to ette for my hotel review!

I went to Salt & Cellar two days in a row and had two completely different food experiences--but…read morethe same level of service throughout. First, I want to give credit where it's due. Naomi at the front was amazing--welcoming, professional, and set the tone the right way both nights. The manager was also phenomenal each evening and clearly takes pride in the operation. Jose behind the bar is a nice guy and can absolutely make a solid drink. That said, the service at the bar didn't match what you'd expect from a place aiming for a higher-end, Michelin-style experience--especially when I was the only person sitting there. There just wasn't that elevated level of attention or engagement you'd expect. Food-wise, night one was incredible. The sea bass was one of the best dishes I've ever had--perfectly cooked, balanced, and memorable. Night two told a different story. The scallops were overcooked, though still had good flavor. What stood out more was that I wasn't checked on until I was literally on my last scallop... again, as the only guest at the bar. My honest takeaway: if you go in expecting a Michelin-level experience, make that known upfront and I'm sure you'll be taken care of. But the real question is--should you have to ask for that? There's a lot of potential here, and some things they're doing extremely well. Just needs consistency across both the kitchen and the guest experience. Nestled in a well appointed boutique hotel the ambiance and welcoming is fantastic, definitely a must try in the area!
