He took measutrements and a couple days later came up with a quote and contract that we had to sign. Company asked for a 1k deposit and work began. At this point we have yet to receive a copy of the signed contract so I contacted the company and spoke with Porter who furnished me a copy via email for expediency per my request (hard to go through the emailed contract, however, as opposed to a hard copy). To make the story short, construction of the new bathroom was done at their estimated completion date. To our surprise, however, there was no glass enclosure. When Chad came over for the walk through and to collect the balance payment, we asked why glass enclosure was omitted. He said that's how some bathrooms are constructed, but it's not what we wanted per our initial encounter. For one thing, the old one that was torn down had glass enclosure. He replied, "Well, we satisfied the contract". We ended up paying over 31k that we thought was inclusive of the glass enclosure, but ended up hiring another company to install it. I'm partially to blame for not examining the contract closely (lesson learned), but then I'm not familiar with construction lingo. Makes me wonder why contract was not delivered promptly. There seems a lack of transparency on their part.
