Stopped here for lunch and absolutely loved it! We got to Bolzano at a weird hour for a meal so most spots were closed, but the chef kindly agreed to make us food. He offered a few pastas and a pizza, and we ordered the bolognese and another pasta. The chef brought it out himself and chatted with us with a giant smile. The bolognese was out of this world, and the chef told us about how it takes over 18 hours to make. It was beautiful sitting outside, and when we couldn't finish our food the server joked (or possibly said in earnest!) he would keep the food in the restaurant fridge for us since we didn't have a fridge at our hotel room.
