My boyfriend and I went for our date night, we ended up wasting most of our credits on the games that we did play, because they did not work (claw games). The claw would move but when we pushed the button to drop the claw ,instead of dropping games it closed and moved back to where we began. As well as not receiving any of the tickets that's we won because the games didnt dispense any tickets. read more

Pros and cons..pros, my kids had a lot of fun, not big lines, Friday family day so I got a small discount, food court was quick and food was mostly good. Cons: inconsistency with go karts..I road with my daughter a lot of the day then a different teen switches and he wouldn't let us ride together as I saw someone else mention..maybe work on that, then it felt like a heater was on in laser tag blasting hot air in the summer lol, laser maze no one was around not sure if it was closed or if we were just supposed to go in. Bumper boats were fun but no time limit..I felt like you could be on there all day. The go karts I got hit at least 6 times..rules are not followed by most. The kids mini pizzas were about the size of an English muffin..quite small, overall I recommend this place. It was fun. My kids loved it so I can't complain too much. read more

This is my experience at bananas fun park in Grand Junction, Colorado. Mini Golf: it was a pretty fun golf course until we reached hole 8 and in the tube of the holes to get to another hole, the ball was stuck in between the tube. We tried everything that we could, but the balls weren't coming out of the tube. Such a scam and people should avoid hole 8. The inflatables were okay coming from a 13-year-old on his Birthday the only bad thing is kids Don't wait in line and don't take turns. Arcade: OK this was way better than everything else and this is the best thing here except I wish that $20 was worth more credits, but it is what it is. Go Karts: NOW ThIS IS A TOTAL SCAM I Just want to Tell you This The Go karts I weren't even able to get on them because I wanted to ride it with my dad when I am at 13 years old the person managing the go karts told me that I was to fat to ride the ride with my dad and they Told me to Ride by Myself there were four single Go karts and they were all occupied so he sent me to the back of the line. At that point I was pissed so I left The line. DONT RIDE THIS STUPID RIDE. The manager of this place needs to hire better people and NICER people for their rides and he should've warned us earlier so that way we didn't wait 30 minutes in line for a total scam. Bumper Boats: didn't do them and it's also very Fun Too Do this ride so yea... Overall rating: the only places that I recommend in this park are the water bumper sprayer boats and the arcade. Whether it was a school field trip, birthday party or day out with the family Bananas was the best!! However, this is no longer the Bananas fun park we grew up in or used to enjoy. The most "fun" thing about your park is leaving. Why? What happened? Let's start with Sam. Sam is a no good delinquent who has absolutely no business outside of a mental health institution, let alone working with the general public! She takes the fun right out of the park. If she isn't screaming at adults, she's yelling and grabbing children! Do your job ask those kids to slow down, not grab them by their arms or hair to get their attention. DISGUSTING SAMANTHA! Besides the monkey management it's trash!!! If there isn't trash or poop in the pools, it's trash and roaches everywhere else! The blow up area for smaller children is riddled with roaches and trash! Candy wrappers tucked into the slides and its sticky surfaces are nasty! The game consoles are broken, covered in sticky gunk or have trash on them. The roach population lives and grows here! What can you do better? Start with getting rid of Sam! Get her the help she obviously really needs or get rid of her in general that will make the biggest difference. CLEAN! These are high schoolers if it's not work, sports, school their doing chores out those chores into their work and verify it really gets done!! Quality control, hire management that knows what they're doing. If you had better management that is great with kids and customers the whole place would turn around. Hire a pest control company (not Penguin they're absolutely garbage) to get rid of the bugs. Equipment safety standards, test all of your equipment prior to letting in the public. If something is broke, DONT USE IT. Otherwise close down. Make the park what it used to be, not this joke. Grand Junction still needs a fun place for families, not a trailer park reject screaming at children or a musty sticky roach infested arcade. Clean up your act and clean up the park. Otherwise make room for a company that's for the public, for the children and for the fun. There's plenty who can turn it around, do your part and fix our park! Fun, fun, fun!! My son (2.5 yrs) and his friend (3.5 yrs) had such a blast!! Just pure joy! Huge smiles! Belly laughs coming down the inflatable slides!! We only went to the inflatable bouncy house and the arcade today, but that was perfect. This is a gem for kids in GJ, and we will go back OFTEN. The only issue I had was that they are adding new inflatable bounce houses so it was kind of empty, only 3 up, and they still charged full price. Seemed unfair, but it won't stop us from going back. I recently visited this fun park from out of town. All day me and my younger sister have been riding the go carts together as she was too young to small to ride by herself. Then a young teenager told us we were not allowed to go together. Now I find this strange because all day we were watched by older employees and were allowed to ride together. This made me very upset considering we had to exit the go karts afterwards. Easy to say, we will not be visiting again. read more

We went to bananas fun park in Grand Junction Colorado for my sons birthday party, spent $600. My son got his wrist band cut off because he wasn't following the rules for the track. That is understandable. But we bought an unlimited wristband pass, and he was not allowed to do anything else in the park after getting the band cut off by a teenager. There was no where in the park that listed the rules, and the manager on duty who had been there for a month Samantha J. could not provide the policy that said that the wrist band would be cut off for the entire park. The manager continued to say that its a verbal unwritten policy. All that is said is that the kid will get suspended from the track, but where does it say the band will get cut off to the rest of the park??? What kind of business is this????? read more

Took my two grandkids last weekend before the weather got any colder and before they close most of the outside attractions. We've been coming to this place for a few years now but I'm a little more disappointed every time I come here. Seems like they raise the prices every couple of years by a couple bucks and the general upkeep doesn't appear to improve; mini golf has some spots that could use some attention. On our most recent visit they were more short on workers than usual (in the past if attractions didn't have anyone on them there usually was not an attendant, so you would have to get someone from the front desk). We usually don't get food on our visits here anyway but I think they also raised their prices on their food in the café. Overall not a too terrible experience but my grandkids always like coming here and that's what's important to me. read more

The guy that helped us around the park that worked there literally earned this place all five stars! We showed up in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day on a Wednesday and had never been here before. We brought our four year old. We had a great time in the arcade (that linking monkey game is addicting!) There were tons of options for her age which was nice and impressive. We played bumper boats (sooo dizzy I'll never drive with a four year old again!) and got wet (there's a sprinkler in the pool). We also played mini golf but our kiddo started to melt in the sun from it so we didn't make it the whole way through the course. But it was well laid out and a lot of fun! We also spent time in the bouncy houses. They're great sizes for smaller and less confident kids. The whole park was literally empty so we had it to ourselves which is nice for our daughter as she's incredibly shy. She got to enjoy everything the park had to offer at her own pace. She didn't last to try laser tag but we did get concessions - the dots and giant pretzels were great. And the staff was so attentive and nice! Brought us free cups of water with our meal. One of the guys was rude and acted like we screwed him over when we presented our phones for 10 free tokens from Yelp... but the other was great and told us if we liked them on fb we could get even more free tokens. He also gave us a break on our tickets. We won a bit over 600, and he let my daughter have a little toy phone she desperately wanted for 75 tickets and a spinner which is 600 tickets. He literally made our whole experience and we will recommend this place and return because of that one employee. read more

We stopped by here on a whim. I thought the kids were going to play at an arcade but we ended up in their water park. We were just passing through on our way to Utah and figured the place would have somewhere to shower off and change when we were ready to leave. They don't. They have two outdoor showers where you can rinse off and from there I guess you're supposed to hop in your car half wet and finish up at home. Since we were on a road trip, I had my kids rinse off as best as they could. I had body wash, but the showers are located right in front of lounge chairs (like 7 inches away) so that wouldn't be appropriate. My kids changed behind our suv as my husband held up their beach towels to give them a makeshift changing room. I think it was 14 bucks to enter the water area only. read more

This is such a cool place! I came here on a whim with my 9 year old daughter & 13 year old niece just for a fun day out of the house. We arrive & was promptly greeted by Eden who was so sweet & kind. She was super helpful on what packages would work for us. Go karts were fun but I picked the slowest one so my 9 year old was bummed however you can get a lot of drive time which is cool. Bumper boats was awesome & obviously the water park was the best! Came in for some food & was helped by a lovely young lady named Kamryn. She was so sweet & helped me wrangle in the orders being shouted at her by the kids & she handled the chaos with grace & ease. Just a sweetheart! She was my favorite of the day. Then to end the day the lovely Karsten helped them pick prizes at counter and was super patient with the demands of my daughter. We've been visiting Bananas for the last few years with our young kids. It's clean and well laid out, with a lot of attractions, and something for everyone. Today was an exceptional visit though, thanks to Dilan. Sometimes I wonder know how our youth get such a bad rap. He absolutely rescued our afternoon when my 7-year old lost his game card 10 minutes into playing in the arcade. With a smile on his face, Dilan resolved it all, and then some. His generosity and kindness was memorable. My son actually said on our way out "Thank God for Dilan!" And I couldn't agree more. To win the affection of a child is a true mark of success. Brought my 2 toddlers to the bounce house this morning with their preschool class. All parents were there with their kids. Shortly after we arrived a stampede of children with very few teachers/supervisors showed up. These teachers/supervisors had ZERO control of these students and my 3 year old child was being trampled! The teachers were talking amongst themselves not watching them. After I brought it to their attention, they apologized but continued to stand there in their little circle and not watch the children. Is paying those kids 12 bucks an hour to be out there going to break you? Some of the stuff is fun, but if you pay for a 3 hour birthday party, you could literally spend the some time in the go cart line and get 3 or 4 rides. If you're going to have a time limit on the parties, you also need to limit how many you sell for each time frame. We came to one birthday party and there were 28 parties going on. Outrageous. Don't plan on getting any assistance from anyone that knows what the hell is going on. Went for a birthday, tried to book on line web site wouldn't work for two days. We showed up all 6 in tow and the 100% High school staff had absolutely no clue what was going on. We wanted to purchase a group package that was advertised as being available to walk in customers there wasn't a certain person who knew what we were taking about. We had to pull up the Banana's website and show them what we wanted. We will not be back on a weekend. Loads of fun here! Water slides are super fun and all the water sprays add lots of fun! Laser tag was one of the best layouts we've played. Miniature golf was good but we got too hot playing, bring waters or play late in the day. Arcade games were excellent all were working and in good condition. All the staff was very nice. Only negative there is no good place to change clothes if you want to change between wet and dry activities, people were using the small restrooms and having to wait for a stall or there was what was called a locker room thats just a small open room with a bench no privacy partitions or anything. I have taken my toddler to Bananas Fun Park for the Bump 'N Jump several times. If you go before 11am, the charge is only $5. We have always had a great experience with friendly staff and the park is VERY clean. We also had my daughter's birthday at Banana's. The toddlers and big kids all enjoyed the Bump 'N Jump. We're from Santa Clarita in Southern California and we have many places like this around our home but we were so surprised how much we liked this place! So clean and welcoming and the staff is great!
