Finding a spot to enjoy it at the Borough Market was a little challenging, but we figured it out. The crust was tender and flakey, and sausage filling was packed with flavor. We were in London for 2 nights and the sausage roll was definitely one of the tastier bites of this trip. We were at the Borough Market during the lunch rush and we had to queue up - it was worth it! They have multiple locations.

It had a large chunk of ground pork inside that reminded me of the texture of a meatball. Flavor-wise, it tasted similar to a Costco chicken sausage, but with pork instead. The outside was made with soft, layered pastry, but it was a little bland and lacked the buttery, flaky texture I was expecting. Overall, the filling was a bit too heavy on the ground pork for our taste, and neither the pastry nor the filling had enough seasoning to really stand out. As for the ambiance, it's a simple order at the counter setup. You wait in line, place your order, pay, and most people stand around the shop to eat. The sausage roll was served hot, so it was definitely fresh.

These were our first meat pies we had on our trip to England. As someone who lived in Australia (a…read morelong time ago) but now lives in the US, the lack of meat pies and sausage rolls is sad. I was very excited to try these pies out! The pies don't come with any sides, such as mashed potato or mashed peas. That's not a dealbreaker though, as they are meant to be eaten on the go and adding mushy peas would be a challenge. We both enjoyed the pies and I'm glad we chose them from all the options in the market, especially since I was growing tired of fish and chips. Great pies - I'd eat them again!

On our 9 day visit in London, one of our quests was to find the best British meat pie in the city, and we're happy to say this is the One! Our admittedly subjective criteria includes: - Pie must have a good balance of gravy and fillings - Fillings must be meat-forward, and not overly displaced with potatoes, carrots or other 'fluff'. Caveat: non-meat fillings must still be present and enhance the pie. - Crust must be crispy, all-around (no soggy bottoms!), but balanced with the fillings. - Value (quality for price) matters Along these lines, this Borough market vendor provided the absolutely best pies we found in all of London. We ordered the "Moo & Blue" which was a beef steak and Stilton cheese pie for 8 or 9£. Start to finish, the pie was crispy, well-balanced, while still offering the best price around. There were a variety of other pies offered, each with clever names (Deer & Beer! Kate & Sidney!), and we wish we had more time to sample them all, but we're sure we'd be quite well pleased with any of them. Is it easy to eat a meat pie in the crowded Borough market location? No. But, it was worth it! All hail, Pieminister!

Everything they sell is tasty! I am eating here since last 2 weeks (lunch). So far I tried couple of pastries/cakes, ridiculously delicious. I don't like soup much but when I visits Seattle USA, I give it a try but here it's soo delicious I had to buy large size, so far the best soup they have is chicken mushroom soup and cauliflower pepper with lots of veggies soup. I tried honey BBQ pulled chicken with caramelized onions and peppers. Ensure you tell them you want onions and peppers else all you will get is bread n meat! I tried salad, lot of options for salad so am not going to put them all here. Try past as well. I tried mushroom pasta sooo cheesy and tasty. They also have very good bacon sausage pasta and couple more which yet to explored. They serve chicken and rice and wraps. I haven't tried yet but looking at the Q for that food, has to be tasty!! MUST try if you want all options together like salad ,soups ,sandwiches , pasta and pastries!

The table by the door was heaving with sweets and included a delectable looking oversize chocolate chip that all but whispered my name. It was my first time in an outpost of this chain and everything I encountered gave off good vibes, from the large selection of teapigs to the smell of chorizo being grilled for lunch and the airy, light-filled space. Oh and that massive chocolate chip cookie? I ate it over the course of two days and can surely say it was faultless.
