Before my slump, I was a regular weekly league bowler averaging 195. During my recent season long slump, my average dropped to about 169. I was playing the lanes wrong, i was doubting my abilities, and overall I was a grouch and not a fun person to be around. My thinking was so negative. I was contemplating quitting the sport. I needed to do something different. After taking the first session, I had a totally new outlook, a new perspective. I wanted to be part of that 1% select minority that we talked about. After taking your 5 sessions, I know I want to be a part of the 1% and I know that I won't be in a prolonged slump ever again. In the 4 weekly sessions that I bowled after I started to work with you, I bowled a 200+ game in every week. Before this, I could not remember the last 200 game I shot at league. I was shooting 120s, 130s, 160s, many weeks, all 3 games below average. I was dwelling on bad execution and bad performance. I couldn't even make my spares, which I usually excel at, due to dwelling on my mistakes on my first ball of the frames. Now, I'm able to roll my first shots well and if they happen to not strike, I can adjust the next time I'm on that lane. If the first ball doesn't strike, I can focus on the second ball for my spare shot and started to make all of my spares again. On my fourth night, on the Tuesday after my last session on Monday, I shot over 200 again and this time, my partner and I won a doubles pot worth over $400 each. You guaranteed me that I would win tuition money back and I did. This is not the biggest pot in our weekly league bowling, but the reward came so quickly. Immediately after taking your sessions, I started to bowl like myself again. I shoot 200s regularly and now I have the confidence as I'm winning money again! Becoming an money making machine! We were (and I still am) working on visualization techniques, but he really helped me have a more positive focus (not to be trite) and helped point me in the right direction of what to do to get my head on right. My next comp, I didn't bomb out. I still didn't make my first lift but I know that these things take continued focus. He made me a personalized meditation cd to help relax and it really does work.
