Jerk chicken, macaroni and cheese, and coco bread.
    Jennifer S.

I had the jerk chicken meal, and the chicken had a great kick and was still super moist. The rice was flavorful, and the cabbage was nicely crisp. The added plantain was a nice break from the heat. The macaroni and cheese has some great herb notes and was not mushy (yay)! The coco bread was like a large dinner roll, but not really too special (I was hoping for the promised coconut flavor - boo). Overall a great meal, but the Johnny cake I ordered was not included in my delivery (sadness).

Beyond burnt jerk wings and old, dry, stale roti

Both side of the wings are beyond burnt, tasted awful like I was eating a piece of coal, the facts that they are willing to serve that to us was kind of crazy. when I told the waitress that the wings are burnt, she said no that's how jerk wings supposed to look like!!! The roti was dry, stale, hard, like an old cardboard. the waitress did offered a refund for the wings.

    Rasta stir fry

Had the Rasta stir fry with plantains, rice and peas and it was amazing! My husband ordered the brown stew fish with festival, rice and peas, steamed veg and plantains. Great flavors and piping hot. I am vegan so i was extremely grateful to be able to enjoy traditional Jamaican food that suits my dietary needs. Stop by and see Stacey. You won't be disappointed.

Chef Champion is legit and downright GREAT!! I could isolate all the seasonings in a very pleasing…read moreand palatable way. In conversation I learned he previously worked as a chef on a well Known cruise line which explained the culinary excellence. Ambiance was comfortable and inviting and we enjoyed dining there Al be it a really hot day. His people skills are top tier too. The best plantains I have ever had, as a lover of that starch I have had many variations, Chef Champions is the best. Jerk chicken well seasoned and cooked to perfection and not overly spicy! Curried goat had deep layering of flavors that had we wanting more and more. They are opened 24 hours too. Waste no time going to experience this great chef local to the FWB/ Destin area!

What to have for lunch that will warm you up on a damp, dreary, rainy day at the beach? Today's…read moreanswer is brought to you by Chef Champion Kitchen. Spicy (not too, but substantial) jerk chicken plate with half a chicken served over a bed of delightfully aromatic red beans and rice (unfortunately a bit dry) and a slightly overcooked, sweet piece of corn on the cob. But the star of the show, without a doubt, was the chicken... Beautifully grilled / smoked half chicken, super moist with flavor that lasts and lasts. I have been following Chef Champion online and made it a point to stop in today, regardless of the rain, to meet him. I am so glad I did. The food truck staff were friendly and polite, and chef was outgoing, personable and even stepped out to turn on the outside patio heaters in the middle of the rainy afternoon just for me. Thank you! Yes, we will be bringing the family back because there's so many more delightfully, delicious. Looking things to try.
