After I returned home from my appointment, I noticed that at least three of my nails clearly looked as though the polish had grown out because there was a visible line where the gel hadn't been blended properly near the cuticle. A fresh gel manicure should not look grown out. I was having my nails done before leaving town for vacation, so I contacted the salon that same day and sent photos of the issue. Because I was leaving, the earliest they could fit me in was after I returned. By then, my manicure had already grown out for about a week. Their proposed solution was to fix only the three affected nails. I didn't think that was a reasonable resolution. At that point, repairing only three nails would have left those nails looking freshly done while the rest of my manicure showed a week's worth of growth, making the overall manicure look uneven. I explained that I didn't feel repairing only three nails was an appropriate solution. At no point did anyone offer a refund, a partial refund, or any other effort to make the situation right. I understand that mistakes happen, and I would have appreciated a fair resolution. Instead, I was left feeling that customer satisfaction wasn't a priority. It's especially disappointing because my first experience here was excellent, and that's exactly why I returned for a second appointment.
