I have eaten here a couple of times and I'm finding it a bit hit and miss. The spicy Kung Pow and Szechuan chicken dishes are not very spicy at all. The egg foo young is quite delicious. The fried wanton, both cheese and pork are very good. Service was very fast and friendly. The restaurant seating area is quite utilitarian. There are six or so tables for dining at the location. There is a large refrigerator with an assortment of soft drinks and sodas available, self serve. Honestly, I got the feeling that flavors got lost somewhere in the pursuit of fast, takeout, Chinese food. I'm sure I'll eat here again but I hope it improves. read more

My mother-in-law always said "hunger makes the best cook". That was certainly true of this mall Chinese restaurant. The "fried rice" wasn't, it was yellow rice though it did have some flavor. The General Tao could have been spicier but it too had a nice taste. At the end of the day, I had eaten my lunch special. Hunger abated we finished our drive back home. read more

When we first came to Tennessee in late 2008, we were happy to find this place. Food was good and inexpensive. Over the years, well, it really went downhill. Last night I was in the mood for chicken fried rice. I was so disappointed with the rice that I ended up throwing it all away. The peas were hard and crunchy, not tender like they should have been. Absolutely no flavor. The rice was obviously days old tasting. I had also ordered the 4 piece chicken wings. Huge wings but so greasy. Even putting them on paper towels to soak up all the grease didn't help. My husband's #103 was a sad situation. The chicken was left in huge chunks. The white rice was old and stale also. It should have been fluffy, not a huge sticky clump. The veggies were stale and over cooked to the point of being mushy. We were so disappointed. Over $23 for food we threw away. Very sad. Not a bad takeout place for being in the middle of rural TN. The staff are friendly and the food is cheap. The Fried dumplings are tasty. The chicken and broccoli was good but too much bamboo, maybe to be expected based on the name of the restaurant. If getting the dinner special resist the urge to get the pork fried rice and substitute white rice- it goes better with the main course. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I found Bamboo Garden. The food is excellent. The service is quick & courteous. Also, they're happy to tweak orders to satisfy the customer- like adding extra snow pea pods to my Moo Goo Gai Pan or putting my husband's fried rice in a separate container. I'm a transplant & I've had Chinese food all over the country. The food at Bamboo Garden is as good (or better) than any I've eaten from Boston to Seattle. read more

Just order bamboo garden for the first time , they deliver which is so rare anymore so that deserves a star alone , super friendly staff and reasonable pricing my husband and I received hot fresh food that had great flavors not just that soy sauce taste but by far this is the best fried rice around here I do recommend to give them a try it great good with good prices that deliver makes for a great date night at home we will be enjoying more of this in the future read more

I had the sweet and sour chicken. It was just deep fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce on the side. It did not taste good at all. Way too bland for me. On the plus side, it was really cheap so I don't feel like I wasted too much money on it. read more
